Reunited

Vacation

Thea was in the kitchen cooking dinner while I was in the living room playing with Skylar and Shadow. Skylar and I were wrestling around and I taught her how to do a Sharpshooter. She's got me locked into one right now and I looked up and saw Thea standing there smiling.

Skylar: Tap Daddy.

Travis: No way I'll never give up.

Skylar: Ms. Thea, I'm going to beat Daddy

Travis: No she's not.

Zelina: Alright you two dinner is ready.

After dinner I did the dishes while Thea and Skylar took Shadow for a walk around the neighborhood. Once I finished the dishes I grabbed a beer from the fridge and I sat outside on the front patio. I saw the girls walking the sidewalk on their way back to the house and they were giggling and looked like they were having such a great time. I couldn't help but smile at how perfect my life was right now. When the girls came back I gave Thea a kiss.

Skylar: Ewww that's gross.

Travis: Nobody said you had to look squirt.

Skylar stuck her tongue at me.

Travis: You girls ready for our trip tomorrow?

Skylar: What trip?

Zelina: You didn't tell her?

Travis: We're going to visit Aunt Gionna in Florida. We're also going to take you to Disney.

Skylar's mouth dropped open wide and she got so happy.

Skylar: Holy cow this is awesome.

*Later that night*

We just tucked Skylar into bed, Thea and I were going to bed soon too because we had to be up early for the flight. While Thea was in the bathroom I was standing in the mirror making faces and talking to myself. I heard Thea start to laugh at me so I turned around.

Travis: Is something funny?

Zelina: What the hell are you doing goofball?

Travis: Trying to practice my mean faces

Zelina: For what?

Travis: For when we meet Gionna's boyfriend tomorrow. I need to intimidate him.

I turned around and looked at her and she rolled her eyes at me.

Travis: What?

Zelina: Babe, you're a special type of idiot.

Travis: But I'm your idiot.

Zelina: That you are.

Travis: Maybe I should ditch the whole trying to be intimidating thing.

Zelina: That's a good idea, you don't want to embarrass her. Besides you're just a big teddy bear.

Travis: Damn you got me there. Trust me I have plenty of other ways to embarrass her.

Thea slapped me so hard in the arm.

Zelina: Travis I swear to God if you embarrass her I will hurt you.

Travis: Calm down, I'm not going to embarrass her. Why do you have to be so abusive?

Zelina: C'mon man I barely even hit you.

I put my arm around her and I pulled her in close then I gave her a kiss.

Travis: I love you Thea.

Zelina: I love you too Travis.
