Reunited

Goodbye

I spent as much time as I could with Skylar before I had to leave. Gionna and I spent an entire day together, Thea and I just got back from a date. I'm packing my bags for the flight tomorrow.

*The next morning*

Thea drove me to the airport and waited with me until I had to board my flight. We were sitting talking while I had my arm around her.

Zelina: I hate goodbyes

Travis: It's not goodbye, I'll be back. Look at it more like I'll see you later

Zelina: I know but it's not like you're going to be a state or two over you're going to be on the other side of the world.

PA System: Now boarding Flight 108 to Tokyo.

Travis: That's me, guess I'll see you later.

Zelina: I guess so.

I gave Thea a tight hug and when I broke the hug I could see she was about to cry.

Travis: Please don't cry. If you cry then I'm going to cry and I'm ugly when I cry. The whole thing will not be a pretty situation and I'm sure a few of these babies here will cry. Then I'll have to deal with their mom's giving me dirty looks and I just don't have time for that today I really don't want to deal with a Karen.

Thea laughed after I said that.

Zelina: That was pretty convincing. Fine I won't cry.

I pulled Thea in for a kiss and then I held her hands and looked her in the eyes.

Travis: I'll be back before you know it. Take good care of Skylar for me while I'm gone.

Zelina: I will. The two of us are going to have so much fun.

Travis: I love you.

Zelina: I love you too.

As I was about to walk on the plane I looked back at Thea and I blew her a kiss and made a heart with my hands and she gave me one back in return. I got onto the plane and when I sat down in my seat I instantly regretted my decision to go to Japan. I spent a few minutes going back and forth in my head about this. The flight attendant came over the pa system.

Attendant: Ladies and Gentlemen we'll be taking off in just a few moments.

I unbuckled my seat belt and grabbed my bag from the overhead holder and I got off the plane. When I got off, I was walking out of the gate and I saw Thea looking out the window at the plane I was supposed to be on. I saw her wipe her face so I knew she was crying. I stood there watching her while she waited for the flight to take off. I watched her wipe away another tear before I walked over to her.

Travis: You ready to go home?

Zelina: Wait aren't you supposed to be in the air right now?

Travis: No, I'm right where I'm supposed to be and that's with you.

Zelina: What about New Japan?

Travis: They've been doing just fine without me. I think they'll still do fine.

Zelina: What about the contract?

Travis: All the money in the world can't compete with you. I knew I made the wrong decision the moment I sat down on that plane.

Zelina: What about wrestling?

Travis: Fuck it, what's meant to be will happen.

Zelina: What are you going to do for work?

Travis: How about you stop asking so many questions. I'm here and I'm staying that's all that matters right now.

Thea got on her tippy toes and gave me a kiss.

Zelina: I'm glad you're not leaving.

Travis: So am I, especially if it means I get more kisses.

We kissed again.

Zelina: I love you.

Travis: I love you even more.
