Time to Rumble

We got into Phoenix a few days early to do some press and appearances to promote the Royal Rumble. I'm pretty excited for tonight because I'll be in my first ever Royal Rumble. When I was younger my favorite match was always the Rumble and to finally get to compete in one is a childhood dream come true. I went and found out what number I was going to draw tonight and then I went and chilled with Alex before the show while the girls got ready. The women's Royal Rumble was going to close out the show and the men's Royal Rumble was the 2nd match of the night. After the Rumble Alex and I were set to defend our titles against the USO.

*Rumble*

Alex entered the match at number 8 and he's currently in the ring with Shinskue, AJ, Otis, Austin Theory, and Finn. The buzzer goes off and out comes entrant number 10.

Saxton: Woah it's the Hurricane.

Graves: As if one superhero running around here wasn't enough.

*A few entrants later*

The ring is starting to fill up and right now Alex is getting double teamed by Otis and Gable.

Graves: Here comes unlucky number 13. I wonder who it's going to be.

The buzzer sounds and I make my way running down the ramp. I instantly go and save Alex and we eliminate both Otis and Gable. Moments later I feel someone grab my shoulder and I turn around and now I'm face to face with the Hurricane. We start to copy each other like we're looking into a mirror and then he tries to swing at me but I ducked and moved out of the way and when he turned around I hit him with a clothesline out of the ring. I played to the crowd a little bit and climbed onto the middle turnbuckle and did a superhero pose and the next thing I know I'm on the ground. I looked up and saw that Alex had thrown me over the top. I looked at him and he shrugged his shoulders at me.

Alex: Sorry partner I want that Wrestle Mania main event.

The rumble would be won by Drew McIntyre.

*Match*

It's time for Alex and I to defend our Raw Tag Team Championship. Jimmy and Jey made their way down to the ring and then we made our entrance with Thea by our side. The match has been pretty insane the four of us are clicking on all cylinders right now.

*End of match*

Jimmy has Alex in a sleeper hold and Thea is on the apron trying to distract the ref but out of nowhere Naomi comes down and grabs Thea off the apron and she's down. During the commotion Jey came running at me and hit me with a forearm and I fell to the apron on the outside. I watched as Alex went to the ropes to check on Thea and Jey turned him around and hit him with a super kick. I tried to get in and break up the cover attempt but Jey hit me with a superkick and I rolled to the corner. Jey was holding me down so I couldn't get back to my feet. I watched as I laid helplessly on the mat while Jimmy connected with a Big Splash from the top rope and we lost our Tag Team Championship. Once Jimmy and Jey left the ring, I helped Alex up and we looked at each other.

Travis: What was that?

Alex: I had to make sure Zelina was okay.

Travis: We just lost the championships.

I pushed Alex down to the ground and the crowd let out a gasp. Moments later he got up.

Alex: What the hell was that?

I took my finger and poked him in the chest while I said every word.

Travis: You lost us the championships.

Now we're in each other's face and Thea gets in between us.

Zelina: Knock it off you guys. We'll get the titles back.
