Change of Heart

Since I decided to bail on Japan I've been working with Impact some more with Alex. We haven't signed a deal yet we're still working as needed. Raw and Smackdown were going to be in Florida this week, I decided I was going to go down and check out the shows. Mom was nice enough to come stay at my place and watch Skylar while I made the trip. Alex was going to be doing an indy show in Tampa that weekend so he was already in Florida. Gionna was going to her training with Nattie and TJ so she invited Me, Thea, and Alex to go with her.

Alex and I were running tag team drills with two of the younger guys and then after we finished, we watched the girls train.

Travis: Whatever happened with you and Alexa?

Alex: We've been talking almost every day. We're actually going out this weekend.

Travis: That's great hopefully things work out.

Alex: Yeah man she seems pretty cool. I have to ask you something.

Travis: What's up?

Alex: I promise I wasn't being nosey but I overheard you and Gionna talking about you skipping out on Japan.

Travis: I was about to sign a deal with New Japan. I was on the flight and everything at the last minute I decided to get off the plane and stay.

Alex: Why?

Travis: I just felt that was the right thing to do.

I looked over and Thea and I made eye contact and she smiled at me, I smiled back.

Travis: I had more to lose than I did to gain by going there. I finally have my life somewhat where I want it and I don't want to screw it up.

Alex: That sounds like a man that is in love.

Travis: Love makes us do crazy things.

Alex: I don't think I could have passed up that much money.

Travis: No amount of money can compare to being in love with your soulmate.

Alex: Dude you're going to make me throw up. Stop with the emotional shit.

TJ: Travis you should hear the crap your sister is talking.

Travis: Oh really now? What is she saying?

TJ: She was saying that she could easily beat you.

Travis: Girl you don't want the smoke.

Liv: Are you afraid to get beat by me?

Travis: Let's go.

Gionna and I wrestled around in the ring for a little bit and the match ended when I hit her with a package piledriver.

Travis: Good fight sis.

Liv: I thought I had you.

Travis: You almost did.

Nattie: That was very impressive.

Travis: Thanks.

After we finished training we went back to Gionna's place. Tyler came over and we went out to dinner with the girls.

*Smack Down*

I had fun with Thea on Raw and tonight I'm backstage with Liv and Tyler while they're getting ready for the show. We're in catering eating when Triple H walks over to us.

Triple H: Liv, Tyler. Do you mind if I borrow your brother for a minute?

Liv: He's all yours.

I excused myself from the table and went down the hall with Triple H.

Travis: Are you kicking me out?

Triple H: No, I want to apologize to you. We got off on the wrong foot the first time we met.

Travis: No hard feelings. Trust me you were a lot nicer to me than other people have been. I've been told way worse than what you said.

Triple H: That makes me feel a little better, I guess. The reason why I wanted to talk to you is that I'd like to invite you and your tag partner to come down to the PC for a tryout.

Travis: Seriously?

Triple H: Yes, I've been scouting talent. Tyler has been bugging me to bring you in for months and then TJ came by and showed me the work you and Alex did during the training session with him and Nattie. I'll admit it I was wrong about you.

Travis: Thank you so much for the opportunity.

Triple H: You're welcome. The ball is in your court now Travis, it's up to you now on what you'll do with it.

After Triple H and I went our separate ways I went back over to Gionna and Tyler.

Liv: What was that all about?

Travis: He wanted to apologize for the last time we talked. Oh and he invited me and Alex to the PC for a tryout.

Liv: What? You're joking right?

Travis: Nope I'm serious.

Liv: Oh my god, you have no idea how happy I am right now.

Gionna got up and gave me a big hug.

Liv: I have to go get ready. I'll catch up with you guys later. I love you both.

When Gionna left Tyler and I talked.

Travis: Thank you for being in his ear about me.

Tyler: You're welcome, I just know talent when I see it.

Travis: Why'd you do it? Why'd you put your neck out for me?

Tyler: I've been in your shoes before. I know how bad it sucks to bounce around from place to place not being sure if you'll ever land somewhere permanently. I almost retired from wrestling because I never thought I'd make it back to WWE. I can tell you want this and I know you're going to kill this tryout.

Travis: I can't thank you enough man.

Tyler: You don't have to. We're pretty much family and family always has each other's back.

I extended my hand out to Tyler for a handshake and then he went to get ready for the show. I stepped outside and called Alex and let him know the good news and then I called Thea.

Travis: Hey baby what are you doing?

Zelina: Just driving to the next town with Billie and Peyton. What about you?

Travis: Just hanging out backstage until the show starts. I got something I need to talk to you about.

Zelina: What is it?

Travis: I have a tryout next week at the PC.

Zelina: What?

Travis: Triple H just invited Alex and I to the PC for a tryout.

Zelina: Oh my god, I'm so happy right now.

Travis: I guess not going to Japan paid off.

Zelina: I'm glad you changed your mind.

Travis: I have to thank Tyler too. Triple H said he's been bugging him about me for months.

Zelina: That was nice of him. I'm so happy right now, you made my night.

Travis: I'm glad I could do that. I'm going to go to my seat, I'll see you sometime this week. I love you.

Zelina: I love you too.
