NXT Debut

I spent the last week trying to figure this Superhero thing out and I was getting a little mad with it. I was in the living room practicing when Skylar happened to walk in on me, I heard her laughing.

Travis: What's so funny munchkin?

Skylar: You look like Superman.

Travis: You're actually kinda right I do.

I was goofing around doing different silly things just to make Skylar laugh. I didn't know Thea was standing there watching us until she laughed.

Travis: How long have you been standing there?

Zelina: A long time, I just thought it was cute so I didn't interrupt.

Travis: Skylar just gave me the best idea ever.

Zelina: I'm listening

Travis: She told me I looked like Superman, so I decided to have two personalities like him. I'll be myself and then James Hero.

Zelina: I wouldn't say you look like Superman. I'd go more along the lines of Captain Underpants.

Skylar thought that was really funny, I just gave Thea a blank stare when she said that.

Travis: Haha very funny Mighty Mouse.

Zelina: Ugh, you are so rude. Stop making fun of me because I'm short.

Travis: I'm just kidding babe.

Zelina: You better be. Or else.

Travis: Or else what?

Zelina: I know your weakness.

Travis: I have no weakness.

Zelina: Yes you do.

Thea had an evil smile so I figured something was up and I was right. Skylar came behind me and started to tickle me. Next thing I know Thea joins in now I'm on the ground getting tickled by the girls.

Travis: Okay, okay enough you win.

Zelina: Victory is ours.

We're all sitting on the couch and I have my arms around both of them.

Travis: This is exactly how I'd like so spend my day. Just sitting around with my girls having fun. I love you two so much.

Skylar: We love you too Daddy.

*2 days later*

I'm in Orlando for some training and then our NXT TV debut. I was at the PC getting some reps in with Ciampa. When we finished we were just standing around shooting the shit in the ring.

Travis: Thanks for helping me out so much.

Ciampa: It's no problem, I love giving back and helping. How's the transition going?

Travis: It's a little hectic but I'm managing. This whole coming down to Orlando every week is a little annoying.

Ciampa: Where are you living now?

Travis: New York.

Ciampa: Why don't you just move down?

Travis: My family is there and I have a daughter. Not sure how she'd taking leaving her friends.

Ciampa: It's a lot quieter here and a way better environment to raise a kid in. Just think about it.

Travis: I do like the warm weather and the traffic isn't nearly as bad. I think you're on to something.

Ciampa: Like I said I'm here to help.

After the PC I met up with Alex and we went and got some lunch.

Alex: You good man?

Travis: Yeah, just thinking.

Alex: About what?

Travis: About talking to Thea about moving down here. These weekly trips are killing me, I'm having to pay out of pocket to come down and it's a lot of money.

Alex: Do you think she'll go for it?

Travis: Not sure, the only thing I'm worried about is Skylar. My mom watches her for us when were gone. If we come down here then I have nobody to watch her.

Alex: I'm sure my sister wouldn't mind. She lives here and she runs an at home daycare.

Travis: That's not a bad option. I'll talk to Thea and see what happens.

Alex: Just let me know, I can always arrange a meet up or something.

Travis: Sounds good. You ready for the big TV debut?

Alex: Oh yeah, I've been so excited I could barely sleep.

*NXT*

The first round of the Dusty Cup is taking place tonight and our first match is against Imperium. When we got to Full Sail we found out what our new entrance theme would be and I was very happy with it my gimmick may suck but at least we get a cool theme. We got changed into our gear and we were waiting until our match.

*Match*

Imperium made their way out and were getting booed by the fans. There was a momentary pause and then our music hit

Alicia: And their opponents The American Heroes.

We had a pretty solid match with Imperium and it ended when we hit our Spinning Brain buster and Frog Splash combo.

Alicia: Here are your winners The American Heroes.

Once we got backstage, we were interviewed by McKenzie Mitchell

McKenzie: Alex, James. What an impressive debut here tonight. You two just knocked the former NXT Tag Team Champions out of the Dusty Cup how are you feeling right now?

Alex: Honestly it feels amazing. We're brand new here in NXT and picked up a win against an established team like Imperium.

McKenzie: James, what are your thoughts?

Travis: I just want to show the kids out there that they can do anything they put their mind to.

Alex: We're not done yet. We won't stop until we win the NXT Tag Team Championship.

Travis: Don't forget to eat your vegetables and take your vitamins kids.

I took off and left while McKenzie and Alex looked at each other confused.

Alex: He's not really a talker.

Alex walked off.

McKenzie: Well, there you have it ladies and gentlemen. The American Heroes are onto the 2nd round of the Dusty Cup.
