It is a peaceful morning of Hastinapur. Lush greens were seen on the both sides of the path. The River Ganga was flowing as though she was trying to hug all the place in kingdom but it seems that she couldn't and she was flowing slowly by the riverbank.

The houses were neatly built in these 9 years and in one particular house, a woman was grumbling under her breath about her so called mischievous son. Radha, the wife of Head charioteer Adhirath took a deep breath saying,"Vasusen! You are in trouble when you come home today,  Kid!" Adhirath shook his head in amusement at his wife. It is their daily routine. Their son is really an angel. After him coming home, Adhirath was promoted as head charioteer in Palace. Though their son is the most mischievous child in this whole Hastinapur, creating troubles everywhere he go, they still love him uncontionally.

There in the River Bank of Ganga, A young boy of age 9 was praying sincerely to the Sun God. His face radiated the positive energy and glowed still more in the morning sun. His brown eyes faced the sun without any hesitation. A heavenly graceful smile adorned his lips. He finished his prayers and skipped back to his home. That's what, he thought to do but his natural curiosity made him to roam around.

This is Vasusen who is fondly called as Karn and Radhey. Vasusen is his real name but on seeing his natural generosity he was called as Karn too sometimes which is the birth name given by his biological father Surya too.

He made his way towards the grand street... this is not the first time he was walking but this is the first time he was walking alone without his father. Hastinapur people know him by his name itself. Though some ladies scold him for being mischievous, if something happened to him, they'll be worried and concerned for him.

The people were affectionate to the child for his bright and charming personality and many upper class women insisted Karn to stay friends with their sons.. And Karna's eyes lighted up on seeing the grand Palace. He waved towards the playing children and proceeded towards the Palace.

He smiled at the guards angellically resulting them to sigh and one of them asked,"What is this time, child??" Karn showed the pedhas to them saying,"If you let me in, I'll give you pedha. Please uncle!! Please please!! Only this time, please!!" The head guard chuckled but said, "Ok... but you should be careful. Then you.... HEY KARN!!" But Karna already went away. The head guard just sighed. This kid always give him headache.

Yep! Usually Karn comes along with his father but he will roam and jump in the Palace causing headache for all the guards but they all love this little boy. They especially love him for his polite and good nature too. Even though a child, if somebody extended their hand before him, Karna will never have second thought. He will give it to them whatever he has at that time. That's why sometimes, they'll allow Karn inside the Palace warning him not to go to Royals but they didn't need to be worried. Karn may be mischievous but never disobeyed anyone.

Karn, on the other hand happily went towards the pond in the Palace. It is the serene place with lots of flowers. Karn always like the place and his father always tell him to be careful so that he will not see any royals.. he was excitedly jumping and running but...hold on..is that someone crying??

He slowly went towards the tree and saw a small guy maybe 6 or 7 year old sitting there with folded legs and his face was buried in his knees. From the royal garments and jewels, he concluded that the kid is from royal family/ Some Kshatriya. He thought for a moment. His father always told him not to talk to any royals. But the crying sound stopped him from going away. He sat beside the boy resulting the boy to raise his head wiping his tears from his cheeks harshly.

Karn smiled at the boy saying,"Hello! Why are you sad? Wait wait...I have pedhas. Do you want it?? But hold on.. Ofcourse you should take. It's prepared by my mother. She would beat me with a stick if I didn't share. You know, I came here without my parents's knowledge, anyway I'm going to..." His joyful rambling was stopped when he heard a shout,"STOP!!"
