Something is echoing...I don't know what is better if I wake up now. I tried opening my eyes and see something unexpected. "Did they rescue me?" I thought as I am sure I'm drowning at that time.

I feel my body still hurt. I overused my strength. No, it's not that. It's because I didn't take care of my body at all. All I care about is absorbing anything that can be converted to my powers.

"Aaah!" I cried in pain as I can still feel how hurt my battle with the Osial is. My ultra-regenerative ability was useless if the energy to heal my wounds were still sealed.

Someone is coming...I saw it open the tent and it revealed someone that I didn't expect...I didn't think I would meet her soo soon.

"Lumine..." I weakly called her name as I tried to stand and due to my weak body I instantly fall but before I could hit the ground she catch me.

I couldn't help but cry as I saw the most precious person in my life. I told her everything...about my journey in Liyue and Mondstadt.

I told her that I find a way to convert others' energy like vision to something like our powers. I could sense that she is happy to see me, but..there is a faint sadness.

"Aether...are you still my brother?" I was so surprised at what I heard. I immediately panicked as I told her that I am the one and only!

But she didn't show any hint of happiness. She is looking at me with serious eyes. "Aether...I saw everything...your journey in Liyue and Mondstadt... I'm watching you and you... disappoint me"

"What...wait Lumine! What do you mean by that!" I shouted panicked as I can't lose her again. I told her that I did it for her and her alone. I...I absorb them and I find a way to strengthen myself. I don't care what method but I will do it no matter what!. "I want to be with you as soon as possible, Lumine!"

"Silly brother..* she carries both of my cheeks with her palm as she rested her forehead on mine. Our faces are too near to each other and someone will miss interpret it as we are kissing or something like that.

"Thank you...I know you did it for me...to find me...to know why I leave you behind, and to support me at whatever plan I have, am I right?" I nod at what she said. No matter what I will help her. It's a good thing that I have my memories of the past that I do not need to pester for information anymore.

But that'd didn't end there. She becomes serious as she lets go of me. "But...you let them die, brother... thousands died that day because of your decision, you didn't even show any emotions...are you my brother?" She asked as I can't say anything.

"You and I both traveled countless of the world before and no matter what I told you about to don't mix up with other civilizations' problems, you still did and tried your best to help them. You are the type of person who will sacrifice yourself for the sake of others. You decide on something benefitting everyone and not yourself. You do not care if you get hurt as long as others are happy. I have always known you brother. And you're so kind that even ordinary people take advantage of you but no matter what they did, you did not hurt them back or anything. You want everyone to live happily," She says she grabs my arm and traces her finger on my palm as she is examining something.

"You are my brother...my one and only...but...not the one that I know and love anymore...you change Aether, I couldn't help but feel sad about it..." She said as tears traces down her cheeks. She wipes it away and goes back to her usual self.

I couldn't say anything as I watch her back disappear in front of me. This is not a dream nor an illusion. She is here and her warm touch that I yearned for several years. I could finally feel it even though it was temporary.

She's now gone and I couldn't help but feel guilty. I quickly remembered everything that happen in the past six thousand years of traveling the different worlds. Making friends with anybody, enjoying their culture and such, and most of all getting mixed up in their problems because of me as just like she said...I want everyone to be happy and enjoy life together even though it will come to end one day.

Flashback

"Aether, you're a good-for-nothing idiot...but that's why I love you so much" Lumine hugged Aether tightly as he just smiled and wipe the dirt and mud on his face. He got it when he tried to beat the king who ordered a killing spree and of course, aether get a death sentence because of it and tried to escape but fall into the mud.

I smiled as I remembered the precious memories one by one. I also remembered when I use my powers to destroy a galactic force invading the planet with the sole purpose of eating everyone in there. And because of that, I forgot to attend an important wedding party in another world and now. I am banned in there. That is...who I am..a good-for-nothing idiot.

But...even though those memories are all happiness...I couldn't stop my tears from falling. It's useless anymore...she hated me.

"I regret it...why didn't I just die that day, instead of getting sent back in time!" I shouted as I regret everything. Everything that I've done.

Even though crying and cursing are useless. I couldn't help it. She is the only person that I couldn't let hate me so much now because of what I did she's gone.

I cried too loud as I feel a hand on my shoulder. It was the fairy my companion on my journey. "Why are you here?" I asked as I wipe my tears she just smiled and told me that she get Childe treated so he is alive and she continued to comfort me.

That's right I did not only absorb his delusion but removed the curse of delusion so that it won't eat his life away. But it takes me 20 minutes to remove it and 10 minutes to fight him and when I go outside...the harbor is gone and thousands died.

This didn't happen in the past. It happens here because I'm too late but I also know that at that time... I didn't care whatsoever. All I think was power and power alone.
