Gon's POV

For the past few days I've just been recovering, processing, and starting new chapters in my life. I heard Maki ended up leaving back to Thailand, I was really happy, it was gonna be Christmas soon and everything was so pretty. I'd also gotten closer to not only Killua but Isamu, Tova, Kalluto, and Alluka. We were all currently in the lounge waiting for lunch.

"I only heard about a Winter formal happening this weekend" Alluka said scrolling on her phone.

"A formal?" I ask.

"Yeah I heard some other nations are coming for it, it's probably apart of the shitty pre coronation thing" Chai adds.

"Who says we should ditch it" Isamu smiles raising his hand.

"I don't mind, they're always so boring" Kalluto says.

"Seriously, what's the point if we don't even have the freedom to dance how we want, or even fucking breathe how we want" Kaori says making us laugh.

*Ring ring*

"Sounds like the buffet is ready" Killua says as we all begin standing up.

1 hour later

"Are you sure I won't just be third wheeling the whole time?"

"Bring Killua, and make it a double date" she smiles.

"I don't think Killua's into that type of stuff though"

"Killua's not into what type of stuff?" I hear behind me.

"O-oh hey" I say a little nervous at Killua's presence.

"Hi Killua! Gon just wanted to know if you'd go on a shopping date with him!" Kaori smiled.

"Kaori!" I whisper yelled while blushing.

"Aw of course, I'm always ready to go shopping" Killua patted my head.

His hands always feel so good on my head.

"Did you say shopping date?!" I hear Alluka and see Kalluto behind her.

"Yeah, it's me, Tova, Gon and Killua. Did you guys wanna come too? We're just getting stuff for the formal" Kaori asks.

"Of course, maybe you could even help me shop Gon" Kalluto smiles sitting at our table.

"How fun! Shopping with a practical model, I'm so lucky" Alluka says making me blush.

We soon went back to Kaori's room as Tova and Killua got ready separately. I decided to do a light eyeliner with a little bit of mascara. I don't usually wear too much makeup everyday but it is really fun to do whenever I actually have somewhere to go.

We get ready, grab our bags and leave the suite.

"How do you look so damn good!" Tova says cupping Kaori's cheeks.

"Currently questioning my own love life" Alluka sulked.

Aw, I do miss being complimented every day.

I look over at Killua naturally, and see him staring at me, leaving me extremely red. I expected to stop being so nervous after growing so close to him but.. he still gives me butterflies every time he looks at me, but why?
