Gon's POV

I looked at my phone waiting to see if Killua had texted back, we had finished watching the movie and everything, he did say he was going out with his family but it's almost 10.

"Has Tova talked to you recently?" I say turning to Kaori.

"Uh yeah why? What's wrong?" Kaori asks.

"Well you know how they said they'd be going out to eat?" I say.

"Mhm" Kaori responded.

"Killua still hasn't texted me back, I texted him around 5 and called when we got home but.. still nothing" I say looking at my phone.

"Oh no, want me to ask Tova about it?" Kaori says.

"No it's okay, I don't wanna bother anyone I was just a little worried" I say.

"Leorio hasn't really had time to talk to me, he said he had a test coming up so he's just been studying and by the time he's done he's exhausted" Kurapika says.

"Of course, that makes sense. I forgot he still had school, that's probably why" I say.

"Most likely, don't worry. He'll probably call later tonight or tomorrow, he might just be a little stresssd" Kurapika says.

Killua always makes time for me though..

I sighed. "I won't worry about it, I'll probably go to bed soon anyways. The hospital said we can come between 7 and 10:30" I say.

"So what time were we leaving?" Kaori asks.

"Maybe 8? So we can get there around 9. What do you guys think?" I ask.

"So I'd have to wake up at 7?" Kaori asks.

"Probably, yeah" I say.

"I'm fine with leaving early" Kurapika says.

"I guess I am too. I just wish I would've gone to bed earlier" Kaori says.

"It's only 10, just go to bed right now, you'll get eight hours" I say.

"I still have to do my night routine, plus Tova keeps me up. It's fine though. Goodnight guys" Kaori says as she got up from my bed.

"I should go to sleep too, I can't function if I'm tired" Kurapika says as he got up from one of my chairs.

"Sleep well guys" I say as I watched them leave.

I laid down and scrolled through social media, hoping Killua was just late and would text me any second. I played games, watched videos, and looked through photos from my collection for a whole hour. Eventually I tired myself out and fell asleep, still without a text.

Next Morning

I opened my eyes as the sound of my alarm continued blaring, I turned it off as fast as I could. When I did I saw notifications from when I was sleeping, I had a missed call from Killua. He texted me saying sorry and how he lost track of time.

I smiled and called him back, hoping he was awake. I anxiously waited as the phone continued ringing.

"Gon? Goodmorning" he says tiredly.

"Killua! Hi! Am I waking you up? Sorry" I say noticing his tone.

He chuckled. "Uh you did but being woken up never bothers me as long as it's you" he says as I smiled.

"Still, sorry. How are you though?" I ask.

"I'm okay, I should be more worried about you though. I'm sorry I didn't talk to you like I said I would, it's just when I went to drop off Rai a-"
