CHAPTER 4

HINDI alam ni Jeremiah kung nakailang buntong hininga na siya. He was just staring at the glass wall. He wasn't in the mood to work today. Iniisip niya kung sino ba talaga ang gustong pumatay sa kaniya. He's suspecting his stepbrother pero wala naman siyang ebidensiya. Ito lang ang alam niyang gumawa ng ganun sa kaniya. Alistair has been become more against him when he knew that their inheritance wasn't fair. Mas malaki ang napunta sa kaniya dahil siya ang legitimate son ng ama niya.

Jeremiah sighed.

Napatingin siya sa pinto ng bumukas ito at pumasok ang lolo niya. Mabilis siyang tumayo.

"Grandpa."

He quickly walked towards his Grandpa. "You didn't tell that you will come."

"Young Master, Master was worried when he found out that you were nearly got shot at the Sapphire Hotel. So, he came here to check you," the butler said.

Jeremiah looked at his Grandpa. "Grandpa, I'm fine. I'm not injured."

"Jer, hindi mo mawala sa akin ang mag-alala sa 'yo. I already lose your father. I can't bear to lose you," his grandfather said.

"Yéye, bié dānxīn. I'm really fine." Grandfather, don't worry.

Umiling ang lolo ni Jeremiah. "I'm still worried about you so I decided to get you a bodyguard."

"Grandpa, I don't need bodyguard." Aniya.

"Young Master, Master has already talk to his friend who owns an Agency. Your bodyguard will be bere in two days. He was shot the other day and he needed to recover." Ani ng butler.

Napabuga ng hangin si Jeremiah. "Grandpa..."

"Jeremiah, I'm just worried about your safety. Hindi natin alam kung sino ang gustong pumatay sa 'yo. The police told me that their target is you. So, you will have your bodyguard until we won't find out who wanted to kill you." Anang kaniyang lolo.

Jeremiah sighed. His grandfather doesn't have any idea who wanted to kill him but he already has an idea in his mind. Ayaw niyang sabihin sa lolo niya dahil alam niyang mag-aalala lang ito.

"Okay. Then I will accept whoever that bodyguard will be," sabi ni Jeremiah. Wala na siyang nagawa kung hindi ang pumayag na lang sa gusto ng lolo niya.

Iniisip niya pa lang na may bodyguard siya na laging nakabuntot sa kaniya, naiinis na siya. Tumaas ang sulok ng labi niya.

Let's see if he can tolerate my temperament. Aniya sa kaniyang isipan.

"By the way, he will live with us and I already arrange his room beside your room." His grandfather said.

"What?! Grandpa..." Napatigil sa pagsasalita si Jeremiah nang makita ang tingin sa kaniya ng lolo niya. Napabuga siya ng hangin. "Okay." He raised his two hands as a sign of surrender. He looked at his grandfather's butler. "Please, bring my Grandpa home."

"Yes, Young Master."

"Grandpa, please rest while you are at home."

"Okay. Okay. I will listen to you."

Ngumiti si Jeremiah.

Nang makalabas ang dalawa sa opisina niya, he dropped himself on the sofa. He blew a loud breath.

BLAZE didn't expect that a mission will welcome him after his three days off. Kung alam niya lang, hindi pa siya pumasok ngayon. Kumunot ang nuo niya nang may ibinigay sa kaniya na folder si Director Rey.
