"Ellie?!"
All Bucky felt in that moment was pure panic, as well self hatred and anger towards himself. His memories from the past few days hit him like a tidal wave, more like a full frontal tsunami.
How could have been so stupid and arrogant not to listen to his sister when she was telling him about Hydra. He all but yelled in her face, actually wait, he did yell at her. He neglected everything she was telling him. All the signs that had been happening to them. Everything that had been going on when she was him trying to fix his problems. And when she tried to warn him, he called her paranoid and yelled at her to stay out of it.
Now, here she was paying for his mistakes. Again.
And it wasn't like the other times. His baby sister was laying on the ground, bloodied and beaten and barely breathing....if she was at all...
And here he was, covered in her blood. Covered in the blood of his baby sister. His fists, both metal and real, were coated in the crimson colored liquid that had been spilled.
"Ellie?" He questioned, his voice quiet and full of concern. "Ellie?" He looked at his sister and realized that there was no rise and fall to her chest.
"Natasha!!" He shouted, knowing that her best friend was there and also concerned.
Natasha tried to run towards them but hit an invisible barrier. Black veins of electrified smoke ran across the barrier, radiating outwards from where she had hit it. Her worry only increased for her friend as she pounded her fists against the barrier in anger.
"God, you're so stupid sometimes, Elliot." She groaned to herself, knowing that her friend always had a plan and this was supposed to be a part of it. But the redhead was also sure that her brunette friend's plan didn't involve her nearly getting killed by The Winter Soldier.
"What? What's wrong?" Rebekah asked as she sped next to where her friend's friend was. "What did she do?"
"She put a barrier up. Don't bother trying to get past it."
"I can't get to you or her, Bucky!!" Natasha yelled back to the older man as she watched him perform CPR on her best friend and his little sister.
