After that most intimate make out session, Jake and Engene suddenly felt a bit awkward to each other. They became too awkward to the point that they even distanced themselves from each other.

Though it's a bit hard because they're literally seeing each other every day. They would start and end the day together, of course it's hard.

They tried to keep it normal even though it's hard. However, their actions didn't go unnoticed by Ningning. Of course she would notice it, but she kept quiet. She didn't want to ask because she'll look nosy so he just waited for them to open up.

Right now, the three of them are getting ready for a dinner with their parents. They just arrived here at Korea and now they wanted a dinner with them.

Luckily, Engene would come because his parents are here too. This is what Jake likes about his parents. They will never leave Engene behind.

"You think I look okay?" Engene asked Ningning.

"Wait, lemme fix your hair" Ningning said. He forced Engene to sit infront of the mirror and started fixing his hair.

While Ningning is fixing Engene's hair, Jake came inside the bedroom. He ignored the two and went to do his own business.

"There, all done. You look more handsome now" Ningning said and left Engene. Jake and Engene are now left inside the bedroom because Ningning went to the kitchen to drink water.

"What?" Engene asked when he noticed that Jake is staring at him through the mirror.

"Nothing. I'm just thinking how gorgeous you can be all the time" Jake responded and stood up, approaching Engene. Then, he stood behind him, looking at each other through the mirror.

"You look good" Engene complimented.

"Hmm, thank you. You look good too" Jake replied. He's still staring at Engene when the bedroom door opened, making both Jake and Engene flinch.

"Hey, let's go now. It's nearly 7:00 pm" Ningning said. Jake nodded and waited for Engene then they all went outside.

"Who'll drive?" Jake asked.

"Obviously you" Ningning said.

"But I'm lazy" Jake fought.

"I'll drive" Engene volunteered. He knew that if he wouldn't, these two would start bickering.

When they entered the restaurant, some of the people inside looked at them. Of course, they catched their attention.

Ningning's beauty is enough to catch their attention, plus, there's two handsome men beside him.

When their families saw them, they all gave a smile to each other except Jake who's wearing a blank expression.

"Can't you smile for a while?" A voice asked. Jake looked at Engene.

"Why would I?"

"So you wouldn't look rude. Come on, bub. Just smile a little, you're more handsome when you smile" Engene said with a smile. Jake finally smiled genuinely.

"There you go. Keep your smile for me, hmm?"

"I will, bub" Jake said and gave Engene a reassuring smile. Engene smiled as well as they continue to walk towards the table where their families are.

"Ningning, my daughter. How are you, sweetie?" Mrs. Yizhuo sweetly greeted and approached Ningning to give her a kiss on the cheek, Mr. Yizhuo doing the same.

"I'm good, mom, dad. How about you two?"

"We're good, we missed you"

"Engene, my baby, how are you?" Mrs. Min asked.

[A/N: idk if I mentioned this before but Engene's full name is Min Engene. I changed it lmao.]

"I'm good, mom" Engene replied. Jake noticed that Jake is quiet and not greeting his parents. He pulled Jake next to him, shocking the latter. Engene signaled his parents to greet Jake.

"Ah, Jake! How are you, son?" Mr. Min asked. Jake smiled as he gave Engene's parents a hug.

"I'm good, uncle. How about you and auntie?"

"Both good" Mr. Min responded. They all sat and ate dinner.

"How's life here in Korea?" Mr. Shim finally spoke up. They all looked at Jake, including Ningning and Engene. When Jake got confused, Engene secretly pinched him under the table.

"A-ah, *ehem* doing good" Jake sighed.

"Well, that's good. So we talked about this earlier. We're thinking of letting you three stay here in Korea if you want to" Mr. Min said.

"So, do you want to stay here?"

"I want to" Ningning said.

"If these two men right here don't want to, then you can't as well, sweetie" Mrs. Yizhuo said. Ningning looked at Jake and Engene with pleading eyes.

Engene looked at Jake, making an eye contact with him. They communicated by giving looks to each other. Engene raised his brow, low-key asking if they would stay. Jake glanced at Ningning for a second and his eyes went back to Engene's. Engene sighed and moved closer, whispering to Jake.

"Come on, Ningning wants to stay here" Engene said.

"But I don't want to stay here"

"Bub, please? Just for Ningning? And for me too. Pleaseee" Engene whined, looking at Jake with those beautiful sparkling eyes. Jake sighed in defeat as he nodded.

"We'll stay" Jake said, looking at his parents.

"Happy?" Jake asked while looking at Engene. Engene nodded and gave Jake the sweetest smile.

"Thank you, Yunie" Engene said. Jake smiled too, pinching his cheeks after.

"As always" Jake replied with a smile.

"Okay, so that's final. You three will stay here in Korea, that's permanent. But tell us if you want to go back to Australia, you can go back anytime" Mr. Shim spoke up again, disturbing their moment.

"Let's talk about the wedding now" Mr. Shim opened up that topic, making Jake groan internally.

"We haven't scheduled the yet because we want your cooperation, Jake and Ningning. But seems like our Jake here is not in the mood to talk about that so we can talk about it next time"

"Is that wedding final?" Jake suddenly asked.

"Jaeyun" Engene whispered, hissing. Jake just glanced at him and held his hand under the table.

"Jake, can you please be more polite?" Mrs. Shim asked with her pleading voice.

"What? I'm just asking" Jake said. Engene held his hand tightly, signaling him to stop but he didn't.

"It is final. You two will marry each other. Why? You don't want to?"

"Oh c'mon, we all know that I don't like that damn idea–"

"Jaeyun, please" Engene pleaded.

"I never liked that idea, even Ningning! Why can't you give us freedom?" Jake asked, raising his voice a little. Engene and Ningning sighed in frustration, knowing that they'll get in trouble if Jake would t stop this.

"Jake, if you won't be more respectful, I'm sending you back to Australia" Mr. Shim threatened. Jake was about to speak up but he felt Engene's hold on his hand tightened, making Jake look at him.

"Please, baby, please. Stop this now, please" Engene whispered. Still, Jake didn't stop.

"Freedom. Is it that hard to give me that, huh?! What kind of parents are you?! Not giving me freedom in order to save your fucking company!"

"That's it. Let's end this dinner here. Jake, go to the house. I don't care if you'll bring these two with you, just follow what I said" Mr. Shim said and went out.

Fuck. Another trouble. I'm so sorry, my Engene.
