A/n: I am skipping over the festival, as I want to go my own way with the story from now on. It feels fair if I've written 105 in-plot.
~
The judges liked my project, when I presented it at the festival, though it renewed my feelings about belonging to the hero course instead. It didn't have the same giddy feeling or as many people I could get along with.
The winter had come with a storm. It was raining for days, unfortunately, that does not stop crime. While hero's had to work, the students of UA trained either in the outdoors or in a controlled environment. Cold winds whipped at our bodies, slashing our muscles, and stealing our energy.
Most of us either found a blanket to hide in or stayed near the kitchen, where Sato was constantly baking new cakes or recipes. Bless this cake-loving guy. While the kitchen stayed warm, others that weren't in a blanket, went outside in the front to train. Something about adapting to all types of environmental challenges.
However, the snow was when I drew the line, yes I was a physically well-rounded person, but even if I wanted to train my quirk in the blizzards, it would be nearly impossible. I've tried. Promise, but after my eyes almost froze open from long usage, I called it quits.
Katsuki and Eijiro were outside, while I watched their fight from the window. Being an unofficial judge. Kat was currently winning in amount of attacks but was losing in terms of stamina. While Ei was winning in terms of defense, but losing in terms of the number of attacks he's put out.
It was a quirkless fight, as it was far too cold for Katsuki without a special suit to keep him warm. And Ei was scared he was just going to get frozen from the amount of sleet. With a final throw, Eijiro stood as the winner. Which wasn't surprising, he had taken Kat off guard by not attacking and looking as if he was only going to take what was given. A surprise was fun every once in a while.
A cloud of steam rose as the blonde exhaled and smiled. He looked happy, which could be explained by the fact that he was taken down in a cheap and noodle-like fashion. Or at least, I think that is the reason.
I got up with my blanket, wrapped like a burrito, and put on some slippers to go and tell them to come inside before they caught a cold. I opened the door and the fast rush of cold air raced into my face. I shivered.
"Boys?" The two turn their heads in my direction, "Come inside. If you're sick, you can't get better." With that I shut the door again, watching Ei pull Katsuki from the ground. A few words passed between the two, and I raised an eyebrow.
What could they be talking about?
Without much more time to think about it, Katsuki began yelling at the red-head. While Eijiro just laughed as if it was the funniest thing.
In the corner of my vision, Aoyama watched the two silently, a creepy smile on his face. Which wasn't uncommon, he looked at everyone like that. Before he receded to his dorm, his onesie tightly wrapped around him.
The front door opened with a loud whoosh, and the two boys I had been courted by walked in with damp hair and red noses. "Oh, you two!" I gasped dramatically. "Have you no shame in tracking in the storm? You're bloody freezing! Look at your noses!" Towards the end, I mocked an accent that had been popular to make fun of by the Americans in the 2000s.
It sounded downright awful.
"My lady, please do forgive our wandering souls. We do not mean to track in the storm, for it was the one who stuck to us!" Eijiro mocked back in a joking manner. While Katsuki watched on with a smile, likely holding back a laugh at how ridiculous we sounded. I could agree.
