Lily's POV
After finishing up the strategy with Sato I watch the rest of the matchups. They were all quite interesting, some people I didn't expect to win won theirs.
Something bothered me though, Bakugou had been Aww fully quiet since his battle ended. Like he's never lost one before and was relinquishing in the bittersweet aftertaste.
Either way he spaced out, his mind wandering someplace else. I felt like I should talk to him, but didn't know how. He was a completely foreign breed of personality, that scared me out of my wits of what he could possibly do.
Eventually I take the first step.
"Bakugou?" He turns his head to see who's talking, while I lean against the wall next to him. "You learned something right?" I hesitate. Scared he'll start yelling and throw something at me.
Instead I get a subtle nod. Then I'm very confused as to where Bakuhoe went. "T-Then apply and adapt." I quickly say before walking back to Sato. Looking around to find Mina.
Finding her quickly, I give a sigh and lazily wrap my arms around her torso and rest my head on her shoulder. She just rubs my head.
"What's up Lily?"
"Just.. tired." I sighed into her shoulder, I was kinda surprised she wasn't pushing me off. But I guess this is what friends do. They let you rest your head on them.
All Might announced the team that was going up before me and Minas match. I chuckled. We were the last to go today and Satos and I's plan is solid, yet I was still so nervous.
Was it because I didn't want to hurt my friend? Or was it something against my morals? No. It's just me being a wimp about having to fight another human being.
I let go of Mina and wish her a good luck before heading to the area we would be taking our test. We would be playing the villain role so I decided to act the part. We make it to our post and I frown,
"Sato can you tell me, is this level of evil good?" He looks at me curiously, I furrow my eyes and give off an intimidating scowl. I watch as Sato shivers.
"Yeah that should be good," I watch him back away slightly. I'm not surprised though, Dad used to make that face all the time to his students when I was younger, I just learned how to do it.
"YOUR FIVE MINUTES ARE UP, HEROS YOU MAY ENTER." I smirk, I had to play the part of villain, even if I didn't really agree with it.
I gave Sato a thumbs up and went to intercept both of the Hero's. I found a resting spot and watched and waited for the Hero's to walk past.
Finally I spot a sparkle. He looked to be shaking in his boots, I didn't blame him though. I could be kinda scary when I wanted to.
I activate my quirk and watch as he realizes I'm there. I loosen my capture weapon, it floats in a way like Dads does and I wrap him up.
He wiggles and squirms trying to get out, but before he can I wrap the tape around his wrists, ending the fight.
"Villains capture one hero!" He shouts, making my ears bleed. My eyes are starting to burn and so I deactivate my quirk.
That felt too easy. Where's Mina? The feeling of someone watching you settles in my stomach. I hear a grunt and then before I know it my arm is stinging from the touch of acid.
I drop to my knees, currently only worried about my injury before I talk into my coms. "Sato, the remaining hero is on the way up. Stay alert," I keep watch over Ayoma and hear a crash before All Mights in my ear.
"Villains Win! Please return to the monitor room!" I sighed before unwrapping my capture weapon from Ayoma and untiring his wrists.
During that, he never once stopped twinkling.
I continued on my way out and headed back towards the monitor room. I felt strangely upset, the fight felt too easy. And I won without many problems.
I look to the stinging sensation on my arm, it was an ugly red that screamed profanities at my nerves. Walking into the room I noticed Bakugou still stuck in his own little world.
"Welcome back! Now, can someone tell me who the best player was in that fight?" Momo raises her hand, and she speaks quickly.
"Mina was the best player because once her partner was captured and restrained she didn't loose her cool and panic, instead she went for the bomb, hero's sometimes have to leave each other in order for a mission to succeed. Mina was a great example of how that can sometimes change your outcome,"
I looked at her, my mouth slightly open. She had completely broken down the fight and was also giving out advice. She's got guts.
I feel a tap on my arm and hiss at the shooting pain that erupts. I look to see who touched it and am met with crimson red eyes.
"What'd you do to your arm dumbass?" A scowl played on the Pomeranians face, but he's always scowling so it's nothing new.
"Mina got me, why do you care?" I ask raising an eyebrow in his direction.
"NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS I WAS JUST WONDERING." He pouted before walking back to his corner. He's a weirdo.
I hear the sound of a clearing throat, "Please go change, and then Mr. Aizawa would like you back in his class room." I nodded obediently and walked into the changing rooms.
I find my suitcase for my costume and change, putting away my suit in the process before I make my way to the classroom.
Dad is sleeping there, out like a light. I make my way to my desk and watch as everybody file it back to the room. Dad wakes up and kinda looks pissed that he's awake.
"I want all of you to read over your notes and go over what you messed up today, I expect you all to know what mistakes you made next class." He says sternly.
I smile lightly before getting an idea, I've never gone shopping with friends, maybe that would be fun?
