Lily's POV

"YOU MAY START NOW!"

With that I took off, jumping as high as I could as ice covered the floor and others were frozen. It seemed Kirishima and Mina got stuck, but I honestly didn't have time to worry about them.

Using people to propel myself I was able to move quickly through the tunnel.

"God Damnit Lily!" I hear Mina from behind me, I turn and give her a peace sign and stuck my tongue out with a smile.

"COME BACK HERE YOU ICY HOT BASTARD!!"

"Nice trick Todoroki, but you missed a few people!"

I watched as Shinso used other people to carry him, I frown slightly, what? Can he not run on his own?

I follow in pursuit of the "Icy hot bastard" that froze us all. That is, until Mineta is hit with a giant hunk of metal. I look up to see giant ass robots.

So this is what the zero pointer in the exam was like? Scary.

"I do wish that you made this somewhat harder, especially since my dear old dad is watching." I hear from Todoroki.

I wince slightly, I've met endeavor before, he isn't the easiest person to get along with. He also likes to force his opinions onto others.

All the Robots are frozen, but it looks like they're off balance. Shit. I have to move quickly if I want to get through them unscathed.

I start running at full speed, my breathing controlled and deep as I need to keep good blood flow.

I'm about halfway through when I start hearing the creaking and groaning of the metal robots. Shit. Shit. Shit.

I watch as one of the Robots starts toppling, coming my way with it's inevitable destruction.

"Lily! Watch out!" I slow down momentarily to look back and see Kirishima running to me at full speed. His quirk activated.

He reaches me just in time to wrap me in his arms as the robot lands on us. The metal bends because of Kirishima, his quirk keeping us both safe as we continue to be crushed.

"Whoa! Was that Lily that a robot just fell on?!"

"Is she okay?!"

"Kirishima was with her too right?!"

Panicked students are heard just outside of the large metal. The rocky boi let's go of me to start tearing his way to the top. Setting us free in the process.

"If it was anybody other than me they would've just been killed!" He screamed as he got to the top. He then reached down and lifted me.

"You okay Sis?" I nodded and made the sign for thank you. I knew basic sign language but not a lot.

"Not a problem, wouldn't be a man if I didn't help someone in need!" I smiled wide at him before jumping down the robot and waving goodbye to him.

I continued racing, students beside me everywhere.

It didn't exactly set my nerves to ease. I needed to be towards the top for me to feel a bit better. Thank the gods I wasn't hurt because I started to run at full speed once again once I was out.

Next up was a giant chasm. Dad used to train me over these all the time so my balance was near perfect.

I started running across the lines, striding even Papa. "Whoa! That Lily just won't go down! She's running across the chasm! Completely balanced!"

I mentally face palmed before as I finished that part of the obstacle course. I spotted Bakugou and Todoroki fighting in the distance.

Deku was shifting the ground why? I had absolutely no idea. I continued until I saw the signs, warning the runners of the LAND MINES?!

Whoever put this together is insane. I was going to believe that forever.

Suddenly what Deku was doing made so much sense. He looked up catching my eyes, he looked determined but also terrified out of his mind.

I give him a thumbs up as he readied himself with the metal plate. Crazy. Absolutely crazy.

I then began my way through the mine maze. Watching my step and looking ahead so I could run a bit faster than recommended.

I heard a giant explosion from behind me and see Deku flying across the mines like it was the easiest thing he could ever do.

I bet his mother has passed out by now. Crazy. Insane. Why was I here again?!

Bakugou screamed in frustration and Todorokis eyes widened in surprise as Deku used his mental plate to move forward again.

I continued moving through this with ease. Desperate to show that I was worthy of a recommendation.

I frowned as I neared the end, I wasn't first nor was I last. I was stuck at a healthy 15th place. Deku was first, Todoroki was second, and then there was Bakugou.

Bakugou. Oh Jeez. He was throwing a fit over being third. Kirishima didn't place much further than me. He was 19th. So he was most likely safe for the next round.

"That was so good Lily!" Mina yelled as she enveloped me in a hug. I smiled and started scribbling.

You too!

She looked so happy while reading that single message I felt like I had just made her day.

"Are you okay though? You were crushed by a giant robot early on!" I saw Bakugous head perk up when Mina said that.

Yes. Kirishima was able to cover me just in time!

The red head rubbed the back of his head sheepishly at the comment. "Thanks but you would do the same for me!"

Damn right I would Bro!

"See?" The rocky boi said to Mina, she just waved him off and walked with us to the center of the stadium for the announcement of the next round.

"I'm excited for what this may be! I wonder if this will like that one year? Remember that?" I looked to her confused.

She just shrugged me off when I wrote no and then explained what happened that year.

I was thankful for the algorithm that prevented no two years being alike in any way. I went and stood in my spot next to Bakugou.

"Alright! Now that everyone is here, let's find out what the second round will be!"

The same spinner appeared next to Aunt Nemi again, rolling as if there was no tomorrow. Finally the thing stopped.

"The next round is..."

"Calvary Battle!"
