Lily's POV

Soon after they all with Dad, Papa was able to get me discharged. Though they said to bring me back immediately if he noticed anything strange or concerning.

I had bandages on my shoulder, around my entire torso and upper body, around my damaged neck, and tightly wrapped around my head.

It wasn't the most comfortable thing in the world but I defiantly knew it was better than dead.

I mean, what if I had died there? If Midoriya hadn't found me I would have died there.

Died.

Dead.

Nothing.

The thought scared the living crap outta me and I wasn't sure wether or not I really should be returning to school tomorrow.

As I rode in the passenger seat I noticed how everything outside looked like it was from the USJ.

Not broken and beaten yet, but still the same building layouts, same positioning. It was scaring me.

It wasn't even the buildings or the similarities that scared me the most, it was the fact that my Dad screaming my name over and over in pain as he got beaten to a pulp that scared me the most.

Once you see or hear those kind of things, it sticks with you. Hand man was going to go down the next time I saw him.

Papa didn't particularly like the quiet car so he turned on the radio and we started jamming to the songs that played there.

When I got that surgery everything was going to go back to normal. I wasn't going to be a burden anymore. Life as I knew it could return to normal.

We pulled into the driveway and I couldn't be happier to finally see my home again. Within only a few days in the hospital, most of which I spent unconscious, I had gotten really home sick.

I stepped into the house and breathed in the smell of home. Which was a mix of cat and human. Mitten was spread across the couch taking a light cat nap.

I wanted to join her.

I wanted to join so bad.

So I did just that. I joined in with my cat, snuggling in with her as Papa came in and began his grading.

Dad came home later, he opened the front door, when he saw me he froze.

Tears started in my eyes. 'Dad!' I mouthed, as I wrapped my arms around his torso. He hesitated most likely from shock but quickly dropped everything to return my hug.

"You're okay, you're okay, you're okay," he said over and over again. Most likely trying to convince himself more than me.

I just quietly sobbed and clung onto him like if I let go he wouldn't exist anymore. I felt another person join us, quickly realizing it was Papa I let him join.

"Recovery girl can heal you a little bit, do you want to go see her?" I nod as Papa makes the offer, I really wanted a lot of these bandages gone.

I was also wondering if anybody would be there right now, just so I had one less person to tell tomorrow.

We drive to UA where we, as a family, go to her office. Knowing she would be able to heal some things better than others.

Dad also wanted her to heal him up a bit too, though I still had the small hope she could help my vocal cords.

I was quickly proven wrong when she shook her head no. "If your doctors have already said no, they had someone try. You can't force things like this. It just doesn't happen,"
