It was about a day from the licensing exams, a full week had gone by where I've avoided, and ignored my boyfriend. I felt terrible about doing so but I couldn't seem to bring myself to face him.

I've talked with Shinso since the day where Katsuki did... that, and know now that it wasn't him that was controlling my hot-headed asshole of a jerk boyfriend.

Which then lead to the main question, who was?

I huffed and put my suit on, tightening my laces and adjusting my goggles before heading to Gym Gamma. Mina and Tsu by my side every step of the way.

I could hear footsteps behind me, making me spare a quick glance to only see my Pomeranian marching towards us at full steam ahead.

"Dry eyes!" I screwed my eyes shut as the girls began leading me away quicker. I couldn't face him right now. I just couldn't. "Come back here and face me!" No. I won't.

I leave the hot-headed boy in the dust, and walk into the Gym, lining up with the rest of the girls as we huddled together.

"Lily, don't worry about it, we'll do our-.." She is cut off by my Dad clearing his throat, demanding that we shut up now.

"As you know the exams are tomorrow, in that case, we are going to be doing someone on ones. Some of you have steam to blow off, others need to figure some shit out,"

Is he allowed to curse here?

"Since that is the case I will be pairing you up with people you aren't on the best of terms with right now. And no, I'm not making any exceptions."

I inwardly groan. The only person here that I'm not on the best of terms with is Kat. So of course I'm gonna be put with him! Why not?!

"If you know who you're gonna be put with please go find that person. No, I don't care if you don't feel like it, I don't have all day."

I uncross my arms and make my way to a sparring arena, seeing as Katsuki was fighting me he followed after.

The only thing I didn't see, however, was his guilt and concern ridden eyes as they followed me to the mat. But as soon as I turned around to face him, his guard was back up, his softened features hardening again.

"Lily." I shiver at the sound of my name escaping from his lips, my stomach doing flips and turns. He looked so serious like I was just another thing for him to toy with.

The thought angered me, and this pit of what used to trust turned into fear, I hated that I was scared of my own BOYFRIEND for crying out loud!

I should be able to trust him with my life! But I got scared and now look at where I'm at!

I don't seem to notice the rest of my classmates staring at us, the tense air finally being addressed and faced. Like a bull charging headfirst into a dangerous situation.

In all honesty, I'm pretty sure what happens in the next 30 minutes with completely change our relationship dynamic. Dad sighs and looks around, checking us.

"You all done? Ready?" I give a nod. "Go."

With that final word I activate my quirk, turning his off, knowing that he won't be able to use it now he's gonna come in for a close-range attack.

I was proven correct as he changed directions, now heading in my way. His feet were light and quick as they made their way towards me, once close enough he starts off with a head bud, something new.

"You missed." I chide him as his head whooshes past my body.

"Fuck off!" He brings his right fist around in a spin for extra power as he charges me. He misses again. "Fuck!" He curses as I bring my leg down on his neck.
