CHAPTER 10

I step out of the Van with a bright smile on my face, confidently walking towards the main door of the mansion. Binuksan ko ito at sumalubong sa akin ang tumatakbong si Fiel.

"Ate!!!!" She's wearing a yellow summer dress, together with a pair of 3 inches white heels. She almost jumped at me, and hugged me so tight. Muntik na kaming ma-out of balance dahil sa ginawa niya buti na lang ay naka alalay sa aking likuran si Kuya Rob dala-dala ang aking mga gamit.

"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry," sambit niya ng bitawan ako at tulungan akong tumayo ng maayos. I was about to speak when a loud high pitch tone of voice surrounded the whole entrance of our house.

Nang dumako ang aking paningin sa hagdanan agad kong nakita ang nakasuot na Waimari Alresco Dress na si Daph, she hurriedly run down the staircase and run to my place.

"Ate!!!!" sigaw niya habang yakap-yakap ako ng sobrang higpit, pakiramdam ko ay nabingi ako dahil sa sobrang tining ng boses niya at tumigil lamang siya ng hilahin na siya papalayo ni Fiel sa akin.

"Hey, you just broke ate's ear drums! Wala ka bang jet lag?!" nakakunot noong tanong ni Fiel kay Daph, Daph just rolled her eyes on her and wrap her hands around my arms. "I miss you Ate Bunny, you lang hindi yung others d'yan."

Natawa ako sa iriningan nitong dalawa at hinila na nila ako papasok ng bahay, nilingon ko si Kuya Rob at sinabi, "Kuya, just put my things at the house, then you may take a rest for a while." I said.

Tumango ito at agad sinunod ang aking sinabi, "Ate, I bought you some pasalubong there!" masiglang sambit ni Daph at hinila ako paakyat sa kwarto niya. Pabukas ng pinto hindi na ako na gulat na punong-puno ng boxes sa loob at branded na paper bags. I can see some channel boxes, LV and other more.

"Ano ito Daph, inubos mo ba lahat ng allowance mo sa France para bilhin ang lahat ng ito?" Hindi makapaniwala na sambit ni Fiel habang nilalapitan ang mga box. When I glanced at this girl beside me, she just smiled confidently and said,

"Duh, I didn't just study in France ate Fiel, I also work naman, some sideline jobs as a model, duh!" Daphne said with her conyo accent. I just chuckled and look around her room, halos wala na kaming madaanan dahil sa punong-puno ng boxes dito sa loob.

"Duh, dami mong alam, you better work your academics there, naku pag ikaw bumagsak yari ka talaga sa akin!" Singhal ni Fiel kay Daph at binuksan ang isang paper bag ng Channel.

"Hey, that's not yours kasi ate Fiel!!!" agad akong binitawan ni Daph at tumakbo papalapit kay Fiel upang kunin ang binubuksan nitong paper bag. "Alam mo you're so damot!!" mapang-asar na panggagaya ni Fiel sa boses ni Daph.

Daphne rolled her eyes and put the paper bag away from her ate, I was just watching the both of them when the door opened and Mommy showed up wearing a white khaite the Tracy dress paired with Giuseppe Zanotti kay Jewel anklet sandals.

"Mom!" sabay-sabay na sambit namin tatlo, lumapit kami sa kanya at agad siyang hinalikan sa pisngi. "Bunny, good thing you are here early, akala ko later ka pa darating, we can go to the airport together." sambit ni Mom. She held my hand and smiled at me.

"Speaking of our flig—ahh!!!" my heart just skipped a beat, when Daphne shouted out loud out of nowhere. Mom also flinched because of it, while Fiel frowned as she glanced at her younger sister.

"What is it?" I ask. Hindi namin alam bakit bigla-bigla siyang sumisigaw.

Tiningnan niya ang relo niya at nanlalaking mga mata kaming tiningnan, "We're gonna be late for our flight!!!" nagpapanic niyang ani. Nagkatinginan kami nila Mom bago nagsalita si Fiel. "Hindi ba mamaya pa tayong after lunch aalis dahil ang flight natin' ay 2 pm??" tanong nito.
