CHAPTER 15

Kinabukasan ay nagising akong wala na sa aking tabi si Vlad, he sleeps with me last night but now he left me so early. Dahan-dahana kong umupo mula sa aking pagkakahiga bago inayos ang aking magulong buhok at tumayo.

I fixed the bed before I went to the bathroom to do my morning routine, I brushed my teeth and kept looking at myself in the mirror. I just can't figure out what's wrong with me. I just know that I feel off in a way that it makes me lose my focus.

After brushing my teeth, I step out of my room and head straight to the kitchen, I prepare breakfast for myself and tea. I opened the TV and the exact moment that I opened it my face showed up on the screen. It's my new movie Project Nadya, which premiered na nito bukas and now they are showing the trailer on the television.

Watching myself still feels surreal, a few years ago I never imagined in my wildest dream that I'll be doing this kind of career. But now I'm releasing a new movie.

Bigla kong naalala ang tanong ni Prime sa akin, na what if hindi ito ang pinili ko ngayon, siguro tahimik ang buhay ko at nagtatake na ako ng board exam to be a certified lawyer. Tuwing naiisip ko ang pagiging isang Lawyer ko, nakakaramdam ako ng paninikip ng dibdib. I kinda regret letting go of that future but I never regret choosing this path to be with Vlad.

He's more than my dreams. I can't live without him.

I just continued watching and started eating my bowl of cereal for breakfast. Today I'll be continuing the shoot I bail on yesterday and so I guess I still don't have any rest for this week.

Habang hinuhugasan ko ang pinagkainan ko nakatanggap ako ng text message kay Vlad, kaya't kahit hindi pa ako tapos maghugas agad ko itong itinigil at nagpunas agad ng kamay upang daluhan ang aking cellphone.

From Vlad,

I'm on my way to Australia for an mv shoot, I'll text you when I'm back.

Agad nawala ang ngiti sa aking labi dahil sa aking nabasa, alam ko na kaagad na hindi siya makakabalik sa birthday ko. Bumagsak ang aking balikat at walang ganang pinatay ang aking phone at bumalik sa paghuhugas ng pinggan.

My chest felt so heavy, I can't even brighten up my mood because of it. Kung alam ko lang na ganito ang mangyayari sana hindi ko na siya pinaalis ngayong umaga.

After washing the dishes, I stay inside my room, I watch Vlad's old songs and take a rest for an hour. Nagising na lang ako sa malakas na kalabog ng pinto mula sa labas ng kwarto ko.

"Bunny!!! Talaga iniinis mo ako, hindi ba pinagbigyan na kita sa pagtakas mo kahapon tapos ngayon wala ka na naman balak pumunta!!!" It's Harvin, tumayo ako at walang ganang binuksan ang pinto at sinalubong ang galit na galit nitong mukha.

"What the hell is happening to you Bunn—-"

"Sorry, I'll just take a shower and then we'll go," pagpuputol ko sa kanyang sasabihin at mabilis siyang tinalikuran at tumuloy sa banyo.

Naiwan siyang tulala dahil inakto ko sa harapan niay pero wala na akong pake doon. I take a cold shower and it just feels nothing, parang namamanhid ang katawan ko to the point na hindi ko na naisip na coldwater ang pinangliligo ko.

Lumabas ako ng bathroom at na nakabihis na ng Dior white plain blouse and just paired it with denim pants, and black molars shoes. "Let's go," I uttered, grabbing my mask and shades on.

Nauna na akong lumabas ng condo at tila nanahimik lang si Harvin habang nakasunod sa akin. He knows when to shoot up, and when I'm not in the mood. Tumuloy kami sa studio at ginawa ang shoot.
