Chapter 6 - The Team

Forum

"So what are we looking at?" I demanded looking at a hologram of an enemy camp before me,

"What we know so far-" Athena began, "- Is that Chaos has at least 4 primordials, 6 titans and an army of abominations and demigod traitors"

"Which primordials and Titans?" I questioned immediately pacing around the forum table. My six siblings as well as Athena and Ares were all gathered with me explaining the current situation. Lucy had gone off to spend some time with Jack,

Ares pulled up 10 holographic images, "Gaia, Tartarus, Nyx and Erebus" she started as four images filled, "And then Oceanus, Krios, Prometheus, Themis, Mnemosyne and Koios"

"How many would return to our side now Dad is back?" I asked,

However Zeus seemed unsure, "I don't think any of them would. They've all been given more power and Chaos' darkness has tempted them even more"

"Bollocks" I cursed still eyeing the screens before me, "What about numbers?"

"We don't know exactly" Hera announced, "But we're pretty sure they outnumber us 10 to 1"

Finally I sat down with an exasperated sigh, "Chaos will send battalions at a time" I began, "He'll start of with Titans as commanders and then work his way up to the final fight"

"How do you know?" Ares demanded,

"He'll want to weaken us. Break us down step by step so that by the end, we're easy pickings" I explained, "And it's exactly what I would have done"

"Hansard-" Zeus began,

"Niklaus" I corrected my- technically now younger - brother,

"Nikluas" he started again, "Even if we manage to beat all these armies, we can't beat Chaos himself"

"I'll find a way" I promised, "Now I need you to tell me exactly what we've got"

The screen of enemies disappeared and a new one opened up showing the training section of Camp Perseus, "We have the impossible beings as Captains to multiple battalions of our own" Athena started, "Each Battalion also has gods assigned to it in the fight. We need you to take a battalion of your own"

"I'm not an impossible being" I countered, "Lucy is, but she represents the Greeks. Benjamin represents Christianity, I'm a hybrid"

"Then lead us" Poseidon interrupted my rant, "You're a mixture of multiple Pantheons, you have more experience than anyone and from the tales you have told us, you're clearly a commander"

I had told them my story earlier and he was right. My Nephilim side was Christianity, obviously my powers from Dad made me Greek. I had ties to norse through my dealings with the all father and my Legion covered Roman. The only Pantheon I didn't have ties to was the egyption, "if I do this I need to meet with all the impossible beings, and also how come there are only 5, there's meant to be 6?"

"We thought you were the 6th" Hestia revealed, "We haven't been looking for another one"

Immediately I shot to my feet, "Then we need to start immediately, I'll put together a team and we-"

"All due respect Niklaus but we need you here" Zeus intervened, "Our sister has found the other 4, let her finish her mission"

"Fine" I grumbled, "But you can't stop me bringing some friends to help"
