Chapter 29 - Spectres

Nik POV

"Percy..." Estelle gasped,

"Hey little sister" He greeted,

She ran into Percy's arms, clinging to him like if she let go he'd die again,

Whilst they were having a reunion I turned to look at the rest of the spectres, "If he's back, how many of you are back from the dead?"

"We all are" the female who had escorted us admitted,

I looked at them, waiting for them to reveal themselves.

All of the spectres turned to Percy, as is asking for permission, "Go on guys, we can trust them"

Seven out of the thirteen people left stepped forward to start with and removed their helmets. Problem was I didn't recognise anyone.

"Nik, these people all died before you arrived at Camp Half Blood" Percy explained, "They died in the first titan war. Meet Charles Beckendorf, Lee Fletcher, Bianca Di Angelo, Michael Yew, Silena Beauregard, Ethan Nakamura and Zoe Nightshade. Guys, Niklaus Mikaelson"

My eyes widened as Percy listed their names. They were war heroes that I'd heard stories of from everyone. Zoe stood out to me in particular as I'd spent many nights talking about her with Artemis,

"Mikaelson" Zoe whispered, "No way..."

"Silena" Percy warned, "Wait"

I turned and raised an eyebrow, "If you singled them out because I don't know them. Who are the last six" I demanded eyeing them.

"Nik, I'm sorry" He sighed,

I turned to the six who started taking off their masks. The first man was an exact replica of my father, "My name is Luke Castellan" He greeted, "Son of Hermes"

The next one broke my heart a little. Because when he removed the helmet I was met with the face of Arthur Pendragon, "Hello old friend"

This left four people.

Two women, two men. r

"Who are you" I asked, my voice shaky,

One of the women took her helmet off first, "Hey Nik"

"Aunt Hayley...." I whispered looking at Hope's mother, "But you died in another univer-"

"Niklaus she isn't Hope's mother" Percy revealed,

I stumbled away slightly, "No..."

"Hey little wolf" she waved slightly,

The tall man removed his helmet next, the one who had fired the lightning at me in the forest, "NO!" I screamed, "Yo- you-"

"Nephew" Uncle H warned, "It's me"

The last man stepped forward, "If you don't like that you're gonna hate this" He laughed removing his helmet,

"Barry?" I asked, very confused, "You're not dead?"

A shocked expression appeared on his face, "Oh the face yeah I forgot, regeneration and all that"

My hearts stopped,

"Hey Dad" Arthur greeted, "You miss me"

Nothing could stop me as I sped at him and pulled him in for a tight hug, repeating my apologies as I held him close to my chest. As I let him go I stepped back slightly, "Wait, you don't hate me?" I asked with a single tear trailing down my cheek,

"Well someone forced me to see reason" He admitted, scratching the back of his head awkwardly, "And I'd prepare yourself for this one Dad"

However what none of them expected was a smirk to appear on my face as I turned to the last woman, the one who'd lead us to the castle, "If you think I haven't figured it out yet, I think you forgot who I am" I told the assembled group as I found the clasp at the back of her helmet. I lifted it off to reveal the crying face of the woman I loved, "Hello love" I greeted, a soft smile printed on my face,

"Hey Timeboy" Meg greeted me as I tossed her helmet to the side and pulled her in for a deep kiss, ignoring the whistles and applause that came from the rest of the group, but I honestly didn't care.

I was finally home.

I know this is a short chapter but I figured I should reveal the identities before we move forward. Don't worry he'll properly reunite in the following chapters.
