Chapter 32: The Help

Harry's POV: 

"Come on sit down, what is it?" I said and made Neville sit down next to me, then Hermione packed her things I then looked at her. 
"I'm gonna go, I'll let you guys talk."  Hermione said and left. I then faced Neville and I saw his terrified face and I quickly knew what he is thinking. 
"Neville, you didn't interrupt us, ok. Me and Hermione are just catching up ok. Now why don't you tell me what do you need help with." I said that made me concerned. 
"Hadrian let me first tell you this, it seems like you known me for my whole life when I just knew we are godbrothers and we just met 2 weeks ago. Now my problem, I don't know how to handle this Hadrian." Neville said nervously, I held his hand and said
"Neville, come on tell me I can help you. You don't know but I can help you." I said to Neville being careful on my every words but also being caring for him. 

"Well um... It's my gram-" I didn't let Neville finished because I already know what Neville is coming to me for, It's his gran. She isn't the nicest, I saw her at the Wizengamot when me and Sirius are there, she is a fierce one and according to her posture she seems strict. 
"Ok, now I know. For now Neville just relax and focus on you school work first, I'm gonna handle this. Now I want you to not go home for Christmas. Even if you're going to be alone at the common room you are welcome in our common room or we can find somewhere we can go." I said hugging him, and released him

"Really, will your friends accept me?" Neville asked that made me laughed a little.
"Hey they already know you're my brother, and they will. I'm not sure if some of them will go home, but I am not going home this year. I have errands to do, but we can make time." I said to Neville that made him smile, I'm glad that I am able to cheer up my brother.
"There you go, I got you cheered up. And also a reminder, stay away form Weasley." I said that made him confused. 
"Why? He seems ok." Neville said that made me sigh
"Well that's it, you may think he is an OK guy but he isn't. Go stick with Hermione she will help you." I said to Neville smiling, then he suddenly spoke up
"What are you gonna do to my Gram?" Neville said, something in my thought when this conversation pop up this question is always gonna be straight forwarded.
"Well I'm gonna talk to her, I know that she has been abusing you..." When I said that sentence Neville paled so I stopped when I noticed it.
"Neville... You don't have to worry, no one's gonna know. Except me and someone who is watching all of us from the above and the below, ok." I said and I saw Neville calmed and he nodded
"So yeah, she's been abusive if I can change her mind on you, I will and modify it too. But if I can't change her perspective then... I have to do drastic measures." I said, pausing long in telling him.
"Which means?" Neville sais calmly
"Which means, I have to make her a acting suicide." I said and Neville's face tensed and paled, I knew Neville is gonna act this way so I said.
"I know but it is the one way I know to get you out of her hands, if she die you can be emancipated and I will sponsor it to the goblins and also you can choose on where you live, you can come with me to Black Manor with Sirius. And also you get to hold your seat and title, which Sirius and I are gonna help you." I said tensely

"How are you gonna do it? When are you doing it?" Neville asked.
"Well first in Easter you need to go home, I can't have your grandmother get killed in your 1st year here. So I guess you know now. 2nd year somewhere between December 19 to 28." I said and Neville nodded
"I know that you get to go home at easter again but just wait, and don't go home for Yule ok." I said and he nodded
"Thank you Hadrian." Neville said
"Always brother." I said and Neville left the library leaving me with a lot in my mind again. I just need to wait for Samhain to something to happen again.
