Arshita woke up and found Shubman was not in the room. She checked the time and said,"baapre itni der tak soh rahi thi tu Arshu! Aaj peheli din hain shaadi ke baad, aur shuru se hi garbar kardi." She quickly went to the washroom to get ready as fast as she could, and then walked down the stairs hurriedly, and Shankari said,"agayi rani sa? Aaiye aaiye! Aap hi ka intezaar tha. Dus bajne wali hain subha ke."

"Bindhni! Zara jaldi uthna seekh le ibb. Apne maayke ki rehen sehen ko bhulne ki koshish kar,"Gayatri said while sitting on her swing.

"Sorry Kaki Sa, sorry Daadi Sa...voh hum eh adaat nahi hain utni jaldi uthne ki,"Arshita said.

"Nah nah tu toh rajkumari se. Par yaad rakh bindhni, abb iss garib khane mein reheni parego tujhe. Toh yaha ke taur tarike seekh le,"Shankari said.

"Garib khane mein rehene se rajkumari se bikharini toh nahi bann jayegi na yeh, Kaki?"Shubman said while walking into the house, carrying groceries.

"Re chhora! Tu kaye chala gaya jeh sab laane?"Gayatri said.

"Abb shaadi kar li hain toh Papa jo kiya karte theh wahi karne ki koshish kar raha hoon. Kher! Kaki Sa, Arshita ko jab mann hoga voh tabhi uthegi. Adaat badalne mein wakt lagta hain. Ekdin mein nahi hota yeh sab. Wakt dijiye aap sab usey, please,"Shubman said while keeping down the bags of groceries and walked upstairs.

Arshita looked on with a smile while Shankari said,"zyada khush na ho bindhni! Aaj peheli rasoi hain thaari. Nashta karle phir chal rasode mein jaa aur ke ke bana na hain main bol doongi thaare ko. Aur phone leke na javegi. Jeh sab na chalta hain iss ghar mein. Main bata doongi kaise ke bana na hain. Sab vaise hi banavegi."

"Par...par...Kaki Sa...hum eh...hum eh khaana bana na nahi aata hain,"Arshita said getting nervous.

"Toh sikhna parego bindhni. Ibb tera biya jo ho gayo se. Thaara saasu maa toh kabki chali gayi school,"Gayatri said.

Shubman overheard everything and thought,"lo shuru hogaya inka."

Arshita gave a nod and went to have her breakfast and then walked into the kitchen with Shankari while Shubman sat in his room in the meantime and thought,"kuch karna parega."

Shankari explained everything to Arshita in such a way that everything went above her head. She asked her about her doubts and received scolding hence she went quiet.

"Ibb avego maza! Drama hovego drama!"Shankari thought and walked out of the kitchen while chuckling. Gayatri went to the house temple while she went upstairs to her room to take a day off from the kitchen as it was Arshita's work to manage everything today. Shubman tiptoed down the stairs and sneaked into the kitchen quickly and found Arshita looking at the vegetables confusedly.

"Thank God mera exam nahi hain aaj!"he said while coming beside her and added,"kya kya bana ne ko bola gaya hain?"

"Paneer ki sabzi, panchmeli dal, malai matar, roti, aur rice, aur kheer, meetha bana na zaroori hain isliye,"Arshita replied and Maan immediately brought out the pulses from the containers and took out five types of those, using a cup for measurement.

"Kaise pata yeh sab aapko?"Arshita asked.

"Ghar pe main, Taara aur Jiji kabhi kabar banaya karte theh ek saath, just for fun. Wahi se malum hain thoda bohot,"he replied while mixing the pulses in a bowl and asking Arshita to wash them.

He then picked up the vegetables and started peeling them off while Arshita said in an impressed tone,"aap toh allrounder ho!"

"No! Am not allrounder. I just feel that men should learn to do these works as well. Why should women do everything? Papa bhi yahi kehete theh."
