Nightmare

Chapter 17: Planning.

After Jimmy's funeral, Jessie, Brittney, and I decided to go dress shopping to get our minds off of everything while Matt and the rest of the band worked on their Nightmare album with their new drummer, Arin.

"Are you sure you wanna do this?" Jessie asked me.

"I'm more than sure, I just need something to get my mind off of everything." I said.

"You're right. Want to try this place?" She asked.

"Oh, yes. It looks beautiful." I said.

We went in the store and I searched around for just a nice, lacey black dress, Matt loved when I wore lacing. Then I found it, it was gorgeous, it was black with lacing at the top and the very bottom.

"Find anything you like?" Brittney asked me.

"Yes, this one." I said.

"Oh my god it'll suit you so fucking well. Try that shit on." She said.

I grabbed the dress that was in my size and tried it on. God it looked beautiful, and I just was obsessed with it.

"Jesus fuck Jade, you look stunning." Brittney said.

"Thanks Britt, where did Jessie go?" I asked.

"She went to go get us a dress, they're trying to find the right ones." She said.

"I'm sure you both will look perfect. She said lavender right?" I asked. I loved lavender and black. 

"Yes." She said.

Then Jessie came in, her jaws dropped.

"JJ! Oh my God that's gorgeous on you." She said.

"Try on your dress." I said.

They both tried them on and they looked perfect, I just knew everything was gonna go amazing.

I got back home and put my dress somewhere safe, and Matt came walking in the room.

"Hey babe, did you pick a dress?" He asked.

"Yes, I did." I said.

"It'll look amazing on you I guarantee it." He said.

"I got it in your favorite design." I said.

"You really think I can resist you in lacing when we're getting married?" He asked, smiling.

"Yes, for now you can." I said, winking.

"You always gotta torture me huh." He said, laughing.

I laughed as I gave him a kiss.

"We have more planning to do." I said.

"Alright, hit me." He said.

"I was thinking for the celebration of life we could have Jimmy's favorite songs playing and a slideshow with your guys new song, So Far Away." I said.

"That's the most perfect idea." He said.

I gave him a hug and reassured him it was going to be okay, because it was.

Everything was running perfectly.
