XIV | The News | XIV

Y/n and Drista had decided, to go swim together in The Souris lake. It was very hot outside, so this was the perfect thing to do.

The girl both wore a bikini, Y/n's bikini was burgundy colored, with some golden details on it, and the other girl's was pink. Normally, the little princess would was suppose to wear the colors of her kingdom, but she never really did. The only occasions she would wear olive green, was at a ball, but only if it was an extremely important one.

Her parents wanted her to wear olive green, but she said it was not fair because Dream did not either. Dream wore another shade of the original color, which her sister said, it is not their color either, so she does not have to wear it too.

Surprisingly, her parents gave up and let her wear what ever color she wanted.

"Drista!" Y/n said with a half shouting half laughing voice, as Drista splashed the water, making Y/n wet. The girl did not know that the little princess was already in the water, but decided now to jump in too.

"The urge to do it, was just to big. I could not resist it, sorry Y/n" The little princess told her, while laughing.

"I'm not done with you." Y/n said as she jumped in. The water was cold, letting a shiver go trough her whole body, but it was not unpleasant cold. Because of the hot temperature, the cold of the water was nice.

"Y/n!" Now Drista was yelling as Y/n jumped on top of the little princess and tackled her. At first, Drista did not want her hair to gt wet, but she already failed now in the first minutes of being in the water.

The girls were just splashing water everywhere, while giggling the whole time. Both, they had not have so much fun in a while. The girl never had a friend, but now she considered Drista as her friend.

When they both got out, they were wrapped up in a towel, so they could not get cold. After they were dry, they laid down the towels and laid on it, letting the sun burn on their skin. The sun shined bright, and they were talking about what they could do the next day. Y/n had told the little princess, if she was in her own kingdom again, they would hang out often.

After chatting for two hours straight, after swimming, they walked back to the castle.

They both went to read for a bit before they had dinner. Y/n was really great full to be here, more than she had thought in the beginning. The food was really good, better than at Avlyrra.

Dinner was over and now it was a late warm midnight.

Y/n and Dream, both sat in the library, and through one of the windows came the light of the moon, making it possible to read. They had placed an oil lamp right beside Y/n so the moon was not the only light source.

They were reading the same book as several nights before.

"Hesione was saved - for the moment at least - but Heracles  . . . Heracles was lost. Heracles the greatest, strongest, bravest and noblest of heroes swallowed whole, without so much as a struggle. Oicles and the others should have known better, of course. From inside the animal's stinking interior Heeacles immediately..." Dream was reading out loud to Y/n again.

Both the princess and Dream were sitting down against the bookshelf. Y/n leaned against him with her head on his shoulder, even though Dream never was into physical touch, he did not mind at all. He did not know what the girl was doing to him, he was getting softer and softer with the day and he could not resist not to through her.

Y/n was relaxing and her eyes almost shut. They were heavy as she was tired. The princess had not slept well in days so it was not weird.

A door shut open, a man walked into the room. His face looked neutral and you could not read his emotions. Both of the two got scared at the sudden, loud sound.
