Johnny left two days after our incredibly romantic date night. My love for him grew twofolds, if that was even possible. I felt more close & not surprisingly his company felt more and more like home. I haven't seen him for a week. We don't get to talk daily as he's occupied with All Valley Tournament and I too am swamped with projects. He keeps on sending me photos to keep me updated with cute dad jokes captions. He thinks they are extremely hilarious.
Coming home after work feels empty without him. I have Harry and Jane over tonight for dinner.

"Why are calling him a prick? He hasn't insulted you once." I asked offended
"He threw a book at my munchkin" she said squeezing Harry's cheek with one hand and bringing him closer to kiss his cheek
"Well.. um that....yep. He did that" i said laughing a little
Harry added "and then he never apologised for that. You know he really must love you, cause he's a total asshole to everyone else except for you."
I blushed a little...a lot....
"Yeah!"Jane continued "that date he had planned for you. That was romantic as hell. I mean who does that? Harry here never did any such for me" she said punching Harry lightly.
I jokingly replied "well then I think Harry deserved being hit by a book" a
"Cheers to that?" Harry said fake smiling
"When's he coming back? My niece is interested in learning Karate. I guess Johnny wouldn't mind an extra student, would he?" Jane asked
"Not at all. He won't be back for another two weeks. The All Valley Tournament is next month, so he's been training a lot. But you can still enrol your niece, Roman is the Sensei who teaches full time here in Chicago's Cobra Kai, he's good too. Johnny looks over the training whenever he's here" I said
"That's cool. So this tournament? Big thing?" She asked
"Yeah. Major. People are crazy about karate in the valley and this tournament generates a lot of heat and settles a lot of beef." I replied
"So will be going to support him?" Harry asked
"I hadn't thought of it. I'm free that week. And I anyway will be home for Christmas . Maybe I can extend my trip." I said to myself
"Good. Can Jane and I host Christmas party at your place while you're gone?" Harry said holding my hand
"Hell no" I replied withdrawing it
"It's important, else I wouldn't have asked" harry said
"Host it at your place" i replied
"Our place is small for the group we're expecting" jane replied
"Why am I not even given a courtesy invite to this party which you are planning to have at MY place?" I asked
"See we wanted to invite some people from work, and since you have dated almost every guy whom we plan on inviting, we don't think you being there would be the best for the party." Harry said smiling worryingly
"What? Dated almost every guy? I went out only once with them. Harry people at your workplace are really shitty. It never made any sense to agree for a second date" i snapped
It was true. After Si and I broke up. I was heartbroken too, cause even though I didn't love Si, I always had a great time with him. And then seeing Harry and Jane I too wanted to be in love, so I asked Harry to hook me up with dates from guys from his office. They were all decent but I never formed any connection with any of them.
"You left in the middle of the date with Raymond, said to Louis during the date that you found him incredibly boring, do I need to carry on?" Harry said
"Y/N" jane cut him "please let us host a party, I promise we'll clean afterwards. It'll be spick and span. We are really sorry but even you know it's for the best you not being there"
"Fine." I said giving up.
"We love you" they sang in unison
I gave them a fake smile
"C'mon we really do. Plus you'll be with Johnny" Harry said
"Yes. I understand. Just feels little weird not being invited to a party being thrown at my place"

"It's okay baby, you concentrate on the training. I'm going to sleep, I'm really tired. Talk tomorrow?" I replied

I was a little upset cause we hadn't talked once in the last three days, we just texted a little. I was missing him a lot. Missing him in my bed, missing sleeping in his arms. I shed a few tears, I wanted to call and talk to him but I decided to go to sleep. This is how long distance works I guess.
