On my way home, I thought I'd wait up to here from Johnny. But as soon as I hit the bed, I fell asleep. I was exhausted, both mentally and physically.
The next morning I checked my phone as soon as I got up. Had one message from Johnny.
He wrote: "Hey baby. I wanted to talk to you but I'm too tired. I'm going to sleep. Come by at the dojo tomorrow around 1 o'clock. I love you Y/N. I love you a lot."
I wrote him back. "I love you too baby. I'll see you at the ol' dojo. How did things go with Robby?"
I got out of the bed and went to see my parents.
"Mooooommmmm.. dadddddddddd" I screamed climbing down the stairs.
"In here honey." Mom said
I ran upto them and hugged them
"My little trouble maker is here" my dad said ruffling my hair.
"When did you guys get in last night? I was too tired to stay awake." I said
"We came in around 11." Mom said putting a plate in front of me to eat
"Perks of being at home." I said started to munch
"So how long do we have you for?" Dad asked
"You people have 2 weeks full of fun and adventure with yours truly." I said taking a fake bow
"Honey you should stay a little longer. We feel like we don't get to see you anymore. Dad thinks you have a boyfriend out there and that's why you don't talk to us anymore. Is it true?" Mom asked
"That's not true I talk to you guys daily.." I countered
"Yeah but you are always running, busy doing this and that." Dad said
"Well, I do have a boyfriend now. We have been seeing each other for 5 months and I love him." I said totally blanking that they know Johnny
"That's great" dad said looking at mom "see I told you. I knew it when I saw my trouble maker. You hadn't complained once about anything these few months and you seemed very happy and settled. I knew it, you had someone. So tell us more about him." Dad said excited
"I'll. Later. I've to rent a car first, mom's car is fine but I don't want to drive around a Toyota. I've to go get dressed meet some old friends. You know the All Valley Tournament is in a few days. I want to catch up with Miguel and Sam and Hawk. I heard they are sort of Senseis now" i said
"Yes. And that reminds me..Did I tell you I see your Sensei Johnny all the time. He used to come over for dinner to sometimes. He's a good fellow, helped us out with the deck and all before your father scared him away by inviting him for any and every tiny problem he faced around the house." Mom said smiling and eyeing my dad
"I didn't scare him away. It was your mother's cooking if you ask me" he said laughing "Earlier he used to come over at once, now he's always making excuses this and that. If you see him. Tell him to come over for dinner, will you Y/N?" Dad said
"Ofcourse I'll" I said gulping in a lot of weird guilt
