I entered my house. My parents were in the living room watching a movie. "Hey honey, how was your date?" My mom said turning.
"Oh no dear what happened? Jack??" My mom said getting out of the sofa and walking towards me.
They came near me and took me to the living room. I was crying and I felt numb. They sat me down on the sofa and my dad sat in front of me on the table and my mom sat next to me shielding from me from one side just like Johnny used to.
"Tell us Y/N what happened? Did Johnny hurt you?" My dad asked calmly.
I cried. "No....dad he'd never hurt me"
"What is the matter honey?" My mom asked calmly
"Johnny and I..." I sobbed "we broke up mom....we broke up for good" I said crying and looking up in my dads eyes.

I was getting dressed when Johnny texted me "Hey, I'm on my way. Don't be nervous. I'm with you. I love you 🧡"
"I love you too. And I know" I replied
I went downstairs and saw my parents. They were like they are in any other day.
"morning mom. Morning dad" I said shyly
"Morning" my dad replied gruntled
"Thank you. It means a lot to me that you are hearing me out. And thank you for inviting Johnny." I said
"Y/N we love you. But hearing you two out doesn't mean that we will definitely approve of your relationship" my mom replied
"I understand. But it already means genuinely a massive gesture you people allowing to hear us out" i said
The bell rang.
"Must be Johnny. I'll go get it" i said and went out of the kitchen to open the door.
"Hey" he said
"Hi. They are in the kitchen. Follow me" i said before pecking a kiss on his cheeks
We walked to the kitchen and Johnny and my parents exchanged their greetings.
We all sat down to on the table. Johnny and I were sitting next to each other. My father sat in front of Johnny and my mom in front of me.
"So Johnny. Is this why you have been avoiding seeing us?" My dad asked
"Yes.. ahemm....." he cleared his throat "yes I just didn't feel right to see you guys without you having the knowledge" Johnny said
I pressed my hand on his thighs giving my approval.
"Y/N, Johnny" my mom continued "you both are adults. Have you guys thought this through?"
"Yes..we talked it over a lot....before getting into anything." I said
Johnny continued "And.....and we have been seeing each other for 5 months now" looking at me to confirm. I nodded
