Dinner Dilerium

I rang the bell. Johnny opened the door. I saw his apartment for the first time. He showed me around. It looked like he had cleaned his place for the first time. I knew that because I'd seen his place a lot of time on video calls and every time I saw a random stuff lying around here and there.

He closed the doors and turned signalling me to come near. I jumped on him and hugged him.

I kissed him all over his face. I left him sloppy.

"What is that about?" He said blushing

"I don't knooowww. I like being here at your place, for the first time. I feel closer to you." I said.

"I'm glad you feel that way." He said

"Walk me over the plan again" I said

"He'll question why you are here for dinner. I'll tell him. That we met in Chicago, you showed me around." He said

"And ??" I encouraged him

"And then we eventually started to date. And we love each other and wanted to tell you that we are together." He blurted out

"Yeah good. Just don't make it look scripted." I said

"I..." he was saying when we heard a knock on the door

"Dad? Open up. I'm here." Robby said from outside

"Wait up. Coming." He said loudly dropping me down. He looked at me took a deep breath "this is it." He said and kissed me

"Go open the door." I said kissing him back.

"I love you" he whispered

"I love you too" I mouthed

He opened the door and Robby was there.

"Hey dad." He said walking in looking at his phone "can we have some beer today? I'm having the worst day" he said before noticing me

"Y/N? Heyyyy. What a surprise. When did you come back?" He said looking at me walking in for a hug.

Robby and I were always close while we were in school. We drifted a little when I shifted to Chicago and he to Boston, but with him it was like catching up after a summer break.

"Just today." I said feeling weirded out by every second. I was scared. Very much. It felt like there was a bottomless pit in my gut and I was falling in it endlessly.

"Join us for dinner" he said "Dad, is it okay if she stays? I know you wanted to talk about something, but she can stay right?" Robby said

Johnny & I looked at each other. That was unexpected.

"Yeah ofcourse" Johnny said "Stay" he said to me smiling

"Yeah yeah. No problem" I said

We got seated and Robby and started to talk while Johnny was serving us food.

"So what are you up to these days?" Robby said

"I'm a filmmaker now." I said

"Yeah. That's cool. Yes I remember. Dad showed us the ad you made for the Chicago dojo, it was great." Robby said

"Oh that, that was all Sensei" I said looking at Johnny

After the Miguel fiasco, I was very careful around other people on what I called Johnny.

Johnny smiled hearing me call him Sensei after ages.

"Yeah. I'm at the LaRusso's" Robby said "I am a Chief Executive, now. Mr. LaRusso helped me out a lot. You know" he said looking at me
