54. I Declare War

3rd Person Omniscient POV

The TNT detonates but the water protects Dream and his allies from the blasts. He remembers Nightmare shooting at Tommy before the explosions went off. He wonders if she was okay.

Dream peers out of the water and climbs back onto land. Nightmare stands on the stage looking down on Tommy who is holding his stomach, blood soaking through his T-shirt.

He mounts the stage as well and gazes at his allies and enemies.

"The Smp will never to back to what it used to be, but there is one major cause of our problems. Factions and new leaderships!"

"You are the problem" Quackity scoffs.

Tubbo bends down to pull out the arrow and pours a healing potion over Tommy's wound as well as helping him drink a regeneration potion.

"Every time a new factions shows up, there is conflict between them and another faction. When a new faction is created, there are disputes over land, leadership, and power. We need to be lead under one faction, the Greater Dream Smp." He continues.

"You prick!" Tommy yells at him. "You're doing this for your own gain!"

"But isn't that what everyone does? Everyone fights with people if they have similar goals but it's all for personal gain"

"You're the problem on this Smp!" Quackity yells.

"I would argue that Tommy's the problem" Dream says calmly. "Tommy griefs people's houses, and most of the time, it's his mouth that gets him into trouble"

Tommy lunges forward but is stopped by Tubbo and Fundy who hold him back.

Seeing an opportunity, Dream continues.

"Tommy always uses his big mouth when he shouldn't and gets himself into a mess that he drags others into as well. Then they have to clean up his mess"

"You know what you fuck," Tommy yells unable to control himself. "If you're so confident that the Smp should be ruled by you, why don't you have an election?"

"I never said that I didn't already rule the Smp, I just need to take back land that is rightfully mine, starting with Las Nevadas"

"Woah, woah, woah," Quackity steps up. "Las Nevadas is a great country, it takes people in and keeps them safe, from you" he narrows his eyes.

"Really? Why is there a casino?
You built it for your own self gain.
You built it so you could intrigue people to gamble and gain riches off the back.
Don't lie"

Quackity freezes at Dream's words.
Dream smiles knowing he hit a nerve.

"Fuck you, you fucking green bastard!" Of course, Tommy runs his mouth again. "If you're so confident that you can rule this Smp..."

"Tommy," Tubbo whispers. "Stop"

"Why don't you fight for it,
I declare war on you"

A collective gasp is heard but that is exactly what Dream wanted to come out of his mouth.

"Wow Tommy, you'd go to war against your own sister?"

"I mean does she care, no, so I don't either"

Phil looks like he's about to say something but doesn't.

"Alright Tommy, I declare war on you too. But just so you know, all is fair in war."

Tommy nods.

"I'm sure you're fine with dragging any allies you have into this right?"
