(Some months after the battle against the Regime, the Morales family is seen leaving the Monarch Theater, which was broadcasting the movie "The Mark of Zorro" after watching it. Then they take a detour down an alleyway, when suddenly a bandit comes out of nowhere and sees Miles with a Spider-Man symbol in his shirt.)
Bandit: Fan of that Spider-Bastard, huh?
(The bandit didn't think twice, and shot Miles' father. His mother tries to stop him, but gets shot too.)
Bandit: Now you know the pain your idol caused me. When you find him, send him my regards.
(Then the bandit leaves Miles crying on his knees, and then two familiar faces come out, and they're not happy about what happened.)
C. Marvel: The nerve of that bastard?
I. Patriot: He tries to make the world safe, and that's how they pay him?
Miles: (sobs) Why? (Captain Marvel and Iron Patriot approach him.) What did Spider-Man do wrong?
C. Marvel: He did nothing wrong.
Miles: Who are you?
C. Marvel: I'm Carol Danvers, Captain Marvel.
I. Patriot: Norman Osborn, Iron Patriot.
C. Marvel: I assure you if someone must be blamed for what that bandit did, it's himself.
I. Patriot: It doesn't matter now. We need your help.
Miles: My help? What for?
(Cut to Hyperion, the former Insurgency, now named as the Circle of Trust is seen gathered along with their new allies.)
