Blackgate Penitentiary, late at night

Meg stood in the shadows, completely invisible. She was wearing a new suit. It was black graphene with Kevlar chest plates. The graphene was a baby shower gift from Slade which he got from a job he did for Lex Luthor. It was close fitted, flexible and completely bullet proof. Meg didn't need the Kevlar chest plates when the whole armor was made of graphene, but she felt more comfortable knowing her chest was covered. She decided to go with a full face mask. It wasn't just any type of mask, it was a DevTac Ronin tactical helmet made entirely of Kevlar. She was going to change the design eventually. It was too bulky for her taste, but it was necessary for this job, she also wore a domino mask with interactive lenses underneath. Hanging out with a former Robin rubs off on a person. She had to admit, it was a safe move.

Breaking into a supermax prison is not something anyone in Meg's field would want to do, but a job is a job. This job was government sanctioned, well it was government requested. She should've known that Deirdre wouldn't have resigned her position, even if she'd killed everyone in the Belfast base a few years back. She had to finish this job as fast as she could. She had a baby waiting for her.

The prisoner was in solitary, there were no direct camera angles to the cell. Meg marched down to the solitary block. She reached for her gauntlet's tablet and switched the live feed with the 25 minutes loop she recorded. She had all of the guards' schedules, she knew at what time the surveillance team went out for their midnight doughnuts, she even knew at what time the warden went to the bathroom at night.

At least her target's cell wasn't the furthest from her escape route.

"Well, it's not a mission impossible movie, things can be somewhat convenient in real life," Meg opened the cell's door.

"I didn't know I could receive visitors after midnight, in my cell no less," the prisoner sitting on the floor in a straightjacket and clearly exhausted said, "it is after midnight right?"

"It is," Meg answered as she checked the corridor before jamming the door and closing it, keeping it slightly ajar.

"Huh, I thought he'd come for me, I thought he'd see the mistake he's made, I guess I was wrong, who are you? It's too dark in here, I can't see you clearly."

"Who I am doesn't matter;" Meg put her things down, "what matters is that I'm here to kill you."

"You don't know who you're messing with! He'll come after you if you kill me! I'm a federal agent! The feds will come after you if you kill me!"

"See," Meg unzipped her duffle bag, opened one of the coolers and took out a syringe and put it next to her on the floor, "me killing you? Well, that is government sanctioned, they want you dead for some reason and I'm here to do the deed. Your death warrant was signed by the presidents of the big 5 and another 10. Granted they probably don't know what they signed, but it means your time's up."

Meg cracked some glow sticks and smiled at the target. She then remembered that the prisoner couldn't see her smile. Meg took off the helmet and set it on her tactical back, she lowered the balaclava from her mouth and smiled again.

"I don't believe you."

"I don't care," Meg looked at the set up in the cell, there were metal hooks on the wall and heavy chains linked to them, with cuffs at the end of the line. This was a supermax prison not a medieval dungeon! "I need to remove your straightjacket, don't try anything funny, I won't be so nice if you do."

The prisoner did try to run once their hands were free, but Meg was fast to strike them in the temple. Meg cuffed the prisoner to the wall using the chains. She then proceeded to gag the prisoner with cloth.
