"If Jackson doesn't remember being the kanima, he's definitely not gonna remember stealing Danny's tablet." Scott says and I nod
We were standing outside. Apparently the cops are searching for Jackson, and Stiles has been texting them this entire time. That's why we went to a different location.
Danny had the recovery footage of Jackson, where it is supposed to show that Jackson is indeed the Kanima. But it is stolen.
"Why would he even steal the thing if he doesn't even know what's on it?" Stiles asks and I look around me. Allison was here too, along with Scott. It was sort of hard to think when we have no idea what kind of threat we're facing.
"What if someone else took it?" Allison asks and I nod, that's possible, but how? "Then somebody else knows what he is." I say and nod, meaning that Jackson could be the side man. "Which could mean someone's protecting him." Scott says and I nod. "Like the bestiary says, "the kanima seeks a friend" right?" Allison says and I nod. "Okay, hold on. So somebody watches Jackson make a video of himself turning into the Kanima and then just erases part of it so he wouldn't know?" Stiles puts the thought out and I nod.
"I mean, yes, but who would do that?" I ask and Allison looks up. "Somebody who wanted to protect him." Allison says and my phone vibrates. I look to see Isaac has been messaging me and I take a deep breathe. Ignore it.
"There's something else. You said the only thing you found online about the Kanima so that it goes after murderers. What if that's actually true?" Scott asks and Stiles shakes his head.
"Well, no it can't be. It tried to kill all of us. Remember?" Stiles enlightens us and I shake my head, but nod. "I don't know about you three but I haven't murdered anybody lately." He says and I shake my head.
"Scott's right. I don't think that it was actually trying to kill us." I say and nod. "Remember when we were at Isaac's the first time? It just went right by us, didn't it?" He asks and Allison nods. "You're right, it just ran off." He says and I look at Stiles.
"It didn't kill you in the mechanics garage." I say and Stiles nods. "Well, yeah, but it tried to kill me and Derek in the pool." He says and I nod.
"It didn't even try to kill Erica. It just paralysed her. What if it was trying to kill Derek?" I ask and they look at me. "Derek isn't innocent, right? You said that he um, that Peter was the Alpha... and Peter wasaid murdered by Derek." I say and Stiles nods.
"Why do I feel so violated all of a sudden?" He asks and I sigh. "Because there's something going on. We don't what it is." I say and sighs. "We don't know anything about what's going on with Jackson, or why someone's protecting him." He says and Allison frowns.
