Ch 29

Nat: "Abby"

Wanda and Abby turn to see Natasha standing there

Abby: "yes mom?"

Nat: "let's go inside, we need to talk"

Abby looks to Wanda

Wanda: "I'll  see you in a bit"

She kisses Abby's cheek and Abby walks over to Natasha. Abby and Natasha walk into the compound and throughout the long halls

Abby: "what did you want to talk about mom?"

Natasha shakes her head and opens the door to her office. Abby walks into Natasha's office

Abby: "what did you want to talk about mom?"

Nat: "Abby. you know that you're my daughter right"

Abby: "right..."

Nat: "and you were... brought-"

Abby: "mom I know I was made in a lab, you don't have to sugarcoat it"

Nat: "either way you were made to be the best spy, assassin, and soldier for the red room and hydra"

Abby: "yes"

Nat: "they took my DNA because I was the best assassin and spy in the red room but we don't know about the one from hydra"

Abby: "you want to do a DNA test to see who they took the DNA from and who is considered my dad"

Natasha chuckles

Nat: "you really are a mini-me"

They both laugh

nat: "but yes that is what I wanted to do. If you are not comfortable we can do it another time

Abby: "I'll do it as long as you are there or Wanda"

Nat: "that's fine, I'll be there"

Abby: "when do we do it then?"

Nat: "in a couple of hours"

Abby: "today?"

Nat: "why is that to sudden?"

Abby: "no it's fine just that, why so soon?"

Nat: "I'm not sure, bruce is the one who said today"

Abby: "all right..."

Nat: "if you don't want to do it, sweetheart, you don't have to"

Abby: "no I want to. it's just I'm nervous"

Nat: "I'll be with you the whole time"

She gently squeezes Abby's hand

Nat: "I'll come and get you when bruce is ready"

Abby: "okay..."

Abby gets up and leaves. She walk into her room where wanda was

Wanda: "hey baby"

Abby: "hey princess"

She walks over and lays on the bed next to Wanda

Wanda: "abby, baby what's wrong?"

Abby: "nothing is wrong"

Wanda: "come on, I don't need my powers to tell that something is up"

She places a hand on abby's cheek

Wanda: "you can tell me what's wrong"

Abby: "nothing is wrong I'm just a bit nervous about something"
