Ch 42

5 years later

Abby: "I'll be back soon jasper, I promise"

Abby pets the dog and grabs her duffel bag. She walks out of the house and over to the quinjet

Hours later, she is back at the compound 

Nat: "are you sure you want to do this?"

Abby nods

Abby: "if it means I can get wands and everyone back, I want to help"

Nat: "it's a test run sweetheart, we have no idea if it will work"

Abby: "I know mom, I know"

Natasha sighs

Nat: "I shouldn't let you do this but you're now 31 and an adult"

Natasha hugs Abby

Nat: "please be safe, sweetheart"

Abby: "I promise you, I'll be fine, mom"

Tony: "Nat, move off the platform. We are going to start the rest run"

Natasha nods and walks off the platform

Tony: "remember Abby, you can't be seen by your past self or anyone from that time"

Abby nods

Bruce: "going in 3, 2, 1"

Abby gets sucked through time. She travels back 15 years ago

Abby falls to the ground

Abby: "черт, это действительно больно (shit, that really hurt)"

She gets up

Abby: "My closet?"

She peaks through the opening in the closet

Abby: "my bedroom, I'm in my old body"

She sees the 16-year-old blond self sitting on the bed reading through some SHIELD files

Yelena: "hey"

Past Abby looks up from the SHIELD files and shuts them

Yelena: "can I come in?"

Past Abby nods and Yelena walks into the bedroom

Abby: "aunt Lena"

Yelena: "how are you doing, settling in here"

Past Abby: "I don't know..."

Yelena: "nervous about everything?"

Past Abby nods

Yelena: "hopefully after some time, you can feel safe and comfortable here"

Past Abby looks down and starts to fidget with the Hospital bracelet on her left wrist

Yelena: "I want to tell you something. Or we'll show you. When your mom and I were little, we had this secret whistle we did"

Yelena whistles

Past Abby: "can you teach me how to do it"

Yelena: "of course"

They hear a knock on the door

Nat: "yelena. I need to talk to you really quick"

Wanda walks into the room

Wanda: "Hey Abby"

Past Abby: "h-hello Wanda"

Abby: "w-Wands"

Wanda: "would you like to play some video games with me"
