Ch 41

A year later

Abby: "princess, wake up"

Wanda: "just let me sleep in, please"

Abby: "come on, we have to finish up the plans for the wedding so we can send them in"

Wanda pulls the blanket over her, covering her face

Abby: "come on princess"

She pulls the blankets off of Wanda"

Wanda: "okay okay I'm getting up"

Later

Wanda: "what are you making?"

Abby: "pancakes and eggs. With sausage as well"

Wanda walks over and Abby kisses her cheek

Abby: "we need to send the wedding stuff to my mom so she can get the wedding planner to start getting all the stuff together. We also need to head to New York to go dress and suit shopping"

Wanda: "fun..."

Abby: "my thoughts exactly"

They both laugh

A couple of hours later

Wanda: "baby"

Abby: yes?"

Wanda: "do you mind going to get more wood"

Abby: "Are we out?"

Wanda: "yeah we are"

Abby: "okay then. I guess I'll go get some more. I'll be back in an hour"

She kisses Wanda and walks out

An hour later

Abby: "I'm back with the wood, princess where are you?"

Wanda: "I'm in here"

Abby sets the wood down next to the fireplace and walks over to the kitchen

Jasper runs over and jumps up

Abby: "Hey buddy"

She picks up the dog and walks over to the kitchen

Abby: "What are you making now, it smells good"

Wanda: "I'm making a pie"

Abby: "what kind?"

Wanda: "apple since there are a bunch around the house"

Abby: "can't wait to have it, I'm always looking forward to your baking"

She kisses Wanda

Wanda: "want to put jasper down and come help me"

Abby: "of course"

She sets down jasper

Abby: "go play. We can go for a walk in a bit"

She pets Jasper and he runs off

30 minutes later

Wanda: "baby can you grab the brown sugar and cinnamon," please

Abby: "of course"

She walks over to the pantry and finds the things Wanda needs

Wanda: "baby"

Abby: "what's wrong, princess?"

She turns around and sees Wanda staring at her hands

Abby: "wands, what hell is going on"

All of a sudden Wanda disappears

Abby: "wands!"

Abby runs over to the pile where Wanda was standing

Abby: "what's going on?"

She rushes over to the tv and switches it onto the news. She sees multiple people dusting away as Wanda did

Abby: "I have to get to new york"

Abby throws stuff into a bag and gathers jaspers stuff. She runs out of the cabin to the garage where they kept a cloaked quinjet

3 hours later she arrives at the compound

Abby: "mom! Dad!"

She runs into a room where Natasha, steve, carol, rhodey, and bruce are standing

Abby: "mom"

Natasha turns to see Abby

Nat: "Abby!"

Abby runs over to Natasha and hugs her

Nat: "thank god you are okay sweetheart"

Abby: mom, wands disappeared, what's going on. Where's dad?"

Everyone looks at Abby and Natasha

Nat: "your dad is gone, as well as Yelena. They disappeared like other people"

Abby: "what?"

Carol: "you should sit down while we explain everything"

An hour later

Abby is looking out the window of the compound

Nat: "Abby, why don't you get some sleep, you look exhausted"

Abby: "I'm fine mom"

Natasha walks over and hugs Abby and Abby starts to cry

Abby: "I miss her mom, I miss her..."

Nat: "we will find a way to get them back, I promise you "

A week has passed since half of the population on earth disappeared. Abby moved back into the compound temporarily. She is in the gym using the punching bag

Abby: "kill them"

Abby: "it's lovely to finally meet you mom"

Wanda: "it's nice to meet you, Abby"

Nat: "прости меня моя дочь(forgive em my daughter)"

Wanda: "fine. By the way, I've known you've had a crush on me for a while. Mindreader, remember"

??: "well I'm Bucky"

Abby: "I...I...I like girls and I'm dating Wanda"

Abby: "hail hydra"

Yelena: "hold still Abby!"

Abby: "You've changed my life so much, so will you marry me"

Wanda: "of course, yes"

Abby punches the punching bag and the chain breaks sending the bag flying. the bag explodes as it makes contact with the floor

Abby: "fuck!"

Nat: "Abby, are you okay. Friday alerted me that-"

She sees Abby sitting on the floor crying. Natasha walks over and hugs her daughter

Abby: I miss wands. I miss Dad, I miss aunt Lena. I miss everyone"

Nat: "I know sweetheart, I promise we will figure out a way to bring them back"

She holds Abby close to her
