The following night in New York City
Abby is fighting a group of people as a young girl, late teens early twenties appear. Abby sees some people running over to the girl
Abby: "дерьмо (shit)"
Abby runs over and fights the men, knocking them all out. she turns to the girl as she dusts her hands off on her suit
Abby: "you need to get out of here"
??: "I can help, really"
Abby loads her crossbow and shoots a person who is running towards them
Abby: "no. It's not safe"
she loads her crossbow again but with a trick arrow
??: "I can't help. I swear"
Abby shoots another person who is running towards the girl. the man falls to the ground, being electrocuted by the arrow. Abby looks around and sees a huge group heading their way. She grabs the girl by the arm and takes off running into a nearby alley.
Once they turn into the alley, Abby slams the girl against a brick building. She pulls her hood off to get a better look at the girl
Abby: "Listen to me and listen to me well. You need to get out of here right now unless you want to get killed"
??: "you're- you're Shadow"
Abby hears footsteps and yelling approaching quickly
Abby: "We need to get out of here right now. Do you have a place nearby?"
The girl nods
Abby: "great, lead the way"
She pulls her hood back on and they make their way to the girl's apartment
Abby: "got a name, kid?"
??: "kate, kate bishop"
Abby: "noted"
They continue to walk
They stay silent until they reach kate's apartment
Kate opens the door to her apartment and flips on the light
Kate: "Welcome to my place"
Abby: "some guard dog that is"
Kate: "I found him a couple of days ago... he's not really my dog"
Abby nods and looks around the apartment
Abby: "so, now that we are away from the tracksuits, are you okay. Some of them were beating you up badly"
Kate: "Yeah, I'm fine"
Abby: "great, then I will go"
Kate: "hold on"
She runs upstairs
Kate: "shadow is in my place, unbelievable"
Abby: "how old are you, Bishop?"
Kate: "19, why?"
Abby: "just wondering"
A few minutes pass and Abby is looking around Kate's appartment when she spots something
Abby: "no, it can't be"
Kate walks down
Kate: "I have so many questions for you, starting with. Will you sign my bow, I know it's not a crossbow but it's super similar. I actually took up archery because of you. You're kind of my favorite avenger"
