Abby: "that's a hard one"
She chuckles
Abby: "I don't know, it's kind of predictable but when mom shocked me. It was so painful at the time but it's really funny now that I look back at it"
Bucky: "come on, something else"
Abby: "hm"
She thinks for a second
Abby: "I haven't even told Wanda this...oh god"
She takes a deep breath
A couple of hours later
Bucky: "ready to start heading back"
Abby: "yeah"
Bucky: "do you want a few minutes alone?"
Abby: "That would be great dad"
Bucky nods
Bucky: "I'll meet you at the car"
He walks away
Abby: "hey mom. It's been 2 years now since what happened on Vormir... it's been hard but thanks to Wanda, she helps me every day... we adopted a girl named Jessie. You both would have gotten along so well. something that I never told you or had the chance of telling was that when I was 16, I lost all hope. I lost all hope that I would never be able to escape from hydra and that I would never be able ot live a normal or somewhat normal life that I would read about or watch. I'm so grateful that you gave me second chance after I tried killing you in the woods. You did so much for me and I'm really grateful for it. Every day I do as much as I can and even more to prove to you... I love you mom"
She walks away back to the car
Bucky: "ready?"
Abby climbs into the jeep
Abby: "yeah, let's head out"
Back at the house hours later
Abby: "Wanda, princess. I'm back"
Wanda: "hey baby"
They both kiss
Wanda: "how are you feeling?"
Abby: "I'm a bit sad but it was nice visiting her grave. Where is Jessie?"
Wanda: in the shower, she should be out soon
Abby: "I want to show you something"
She takes Wanda's hand and leads her outside
Wanda: "what's out there that you want me to see"
Abby: "my dad and aunt decided to give me this"
They walk to the garage and Abby opens it
She opens it to the reveal a tarped object
Wanda: "what is this?"
Abby smiles and walks over to the tarped object
She pulls off the tarp to reveal Natasha's motorcycle
Wanda: "is that your mom's motorcycle?"
Abby: "yeah... funny story, I kind of sort of broke it when I was 18. I freaked out and didn't know what to do. I had to fix it and it was the worst thing ever. She was so pissed"
Wanda laughs
Wanda: "sounds like your mom"
Abby: "we fixed it together and that was something we bonded over, fixing her bike or anything we could do that involved building"
