We came back to the lot from our test drive, and after having to save my dad a few times, he decided to buy the truck, even though it has been awhile since he drove a stick shift. And I was already getting better with driving a stick shift, even without Rae around.

With my parents now getting ready to do some lengthy paperwork, I strolled around the car lot some more, without a whole lot of interest. Well, probably a couple of old stuff that were being sold here. Most of the vehicles on the lot were pretty new, with the exception of two trucks that were sitting next to the back row fence, a battered Ford that has seen better days, and an older Toyota Camry with a badly cracked windshield, a missing headlight, and had a flat tire. My dad's heavily battered 2008 Chevy truck is also among those in the heap lot as well.

[Imagine the truck but in much, much worse condition than this...]

The truck has over 640,000 contractor miles in the 5 years he's owned it. He also bought it from here, when it had only 212,000 miles, and paid a measly $3,900. Never smoked, too, despite having all those miles. And yes, he does keep up on fluid changes, except the automatic fluid. On top of that, he just bought 4 new tires for this truck just 2 weeks prior. We bought it from this lot, now who knows where it will end up from here on out?

Only old trucks on the lot that were restored and ready for sale was this old 1983 Ford...
