Chapter 11

—————At College——————

Raavi and a bunch of her classmates who were in charge of the Arts and Dance committee had decided, there would be a group dance competition, a couple dance competition and solo dance competition as a part of the dance category, while they had various art categories like sketching, painting, etc etc. They decided to also have a bunch of people design the posters of all events which included Kirti and Raavi in it.

"Humein naa aaj hi audition posters banane honge aur unko poore college mein jaake notice boards pe lagana hoga, bohut kam time hai, yeh sab ke liye, chalo chalo kaam pe lag jaao" said Raavi clapping her hands together, telling everyone to buck up and start designing.

"Waise Raavi, tujhe bhi participate kar lena chahiye, tu itna accha dance jo karti hai" suggested Riddhi while picking up a cardboard sheet and some colours.

"Mujhe lagta hai tujhe solo aur duet dono mein perform karna chahiye, Yaad hai tujhe tune woh solo performance diya tha, last time ke competition mein aur sab ko kitna pasand aaya tha woh, aur tune Vikram ke saath duet bhi toh kiya, sab ke insist karne pe, ab Vikram toh college mein raha nahi, kis aur ko dhoond lenge uske jagah" added Payal, joining in on their conversation and taking a seat beside Riddhi.

"Guys, nahi main kaise participate kar sakti hoon, mujhse nahi hoga, in fact itna time nahi hoga rehearse karne ke liye, fest organize aur co ordinate bhi toh karna hai" said Raavi trying to avoid it.

"Arrey sab manage ho jaayega hum hai naa, waise bhi tu apna talent aise waste kaise jaane de sakti hai" assured Riddhi.

Raavi's thoughts start with, "Waise sahi toh keh raha, maine khud ko promise bhi kiya tha, ki main alag alag cheezein karoongi, jisse mujhe khushi mile, par duet main kiske saath—" only to be interrupted by Kirti who pitches in saying,

"Tum logon ko mera friend Sameer pata hai kya, woh bohut hi accha dancer hai, toh kyun na Raavi Di uske saath duet kar le"

"Arrey, haan maine Sameer ko dance karte hue dekha hai, he's a fab dancer" said Riddhi excitedly.

"Toh it's settled then, main Sam ko text karti hoon, aur poochti hoon if he's up for it" said Kirti busy texting in her phone.

"Guys main——" started Raavi to resist the quick development that was happening.

"Raavi, please, ab koi lame sa excuse mat de, it'll be good to see you back to dancing, tu bhi jaanti hai, ki tu kitna enjoy karti thi" said Payal looking at her with a frown.

Raavi heaves a sigh and gives in after much insistence saying "Okay, fine, but hum trial rehearsal kar ke dekhte hai, agar main comfortable hoon, then only I will proceed, warna nahi, theek hai? Koi mujhe force nahi karega uske baad?" making it clear to them.

"Done, done" said Riddhi with glee.

"Waise Raavi di, yeh posters hum khatam kar lete hai aaj hi, main aapke saath chalti hoon Hardik Bhai ke ghar, aapke help karne, Krish ko bhi humne help karne bol denge, aur main Sameer ko bhi wahin bula leti hoon, taaki aap dono, trial rehearsal karo, what say?" suggested Kirti.

"Okay, theek hai, chalo phir" said Raavi still unsure about this whole situation.

"Nahi aap nikal jaao, mujhe pehle ek friend se milna hai phir main Sam ke saath aa jaaongi, aap Krish ko inform kar doge, hum wahan milte hai" said Kirti and rushed off to meet her friend.
