Raavi is woken up by a yell from her Maasapaa, who says "Raavi dikri, jaldi neeche aa jaa, koi tujhse milne aaya hai". She quickly freshens up and comes down, bouncing in her steps, thinking it is Shiva. Only to be horrified to see Suman kaki in their living room, giving her a rather stoic look. She gulps thinking this is the end.
"Kaaki aap?" squeaks Raavi in a low tone, keeping her distance from Suman.
"Haan, maarkundi gaay, main, kya sirf tum sab hi aa sakte ho, mere ghar tamasha karne, main nahi?" says Suman harshly, staring at Raavi with her steely eyes.
"Arrey kaisi baatein karti ho haan Suman ben, aap bhi na" says Maami, coyly, threading carefully with her words.
"Behena, waise kaise aana hua?" asks Jagat, without beating around the bush, trying to judge from Suman's sudden actions.
Suman wheels her chair forward and moves towards Raavi with a determined look and halts in front of her, saying "Teri beti ko umar khaid ki sazaa dilwaane aayi hoon". Shocking everyone with her audactiy, didn't they already explain to her that Raavi had no hand in whatever fiasco happened with Dhara and it was Anita's involvement.
"Yeh tum kaisi baatein kar rahi hoon, kal humne samjhaaya tha na ki Raavi ne koi galti ki nahi" explains Jagat for the nth time.
"Galti toh hui hai Raavi se, woh bhi umar khaid ki saza dilwaane waali" states Suman stubbornly.
"Kaaki maine sach mein kuch bhi nahi kiya, main kabhi—" pleads Raavi only to be stopped by Suman's raised hand.
"Mere bete ko apne pyaar mein phasane ki galti karegi, toh sazaa toh milegi hi tujhe, aur woh bhi uske saath umar bhar ke liye shaadi mein khaid hone ki" announces Suman finally with a triumphant smile on her face.
"Kaaki maine koi phasaya ——" starts Raavi once again explaining her stance, coming to a complete stop, looking at Suman unbelievingly.
"Kya kaha aapne, shaadi mein umar kaid hone ki?" says Raavi, holding both her hands on her mouth in utter shock.
"Ab tum sab log aise hi meri shakal dekhoge yaa muh meeta bhi karaaoge?" asks Suman, holding her hands out in question.
"Arrey Suman ben aapne tu itni khushi ki baat kahi hai, main abhi leke aata hoon" says Jagat, leaving the room, walking into the kitchen.
"Main kahin sapna toh nahi dekh rahi" mutters Raavi, landing a small pat on her cheek to make sure she's awake when she hears someone at the door say "Sapna toh hai, par haqeeqat mein badalne jaa raha hai" and in walks Shiva, wearing the shirt she had given him once and smiling. Followed by, the rest of the Pandyas, with the brothers beating the dhol and her sister in laws dancing while walking in with thaals in their hands.
"Kaisa laga humara surprise?" asks Dhara, with Rishita as they hug her in congratulations while Shiva looks on ecstatic.
"Sab se conjugate le liya, mujhse nahi loge?" asks Suman interrupting their happy reunion hug.
"Maa, conjugate nahi congratulate" states Dhara, as a matter-of-factly to which Suman glares at her, silencing her.
Shiva and Raavi move towards Suman and bend down to take her aashirwad, while she blesses them pointing her hands over their heads. "Raavi beta, mujhe maaf kar de, main tere saath bohut galat kiya, main—" to which Raavi stops her, "Kaaki aap please aisa mat boliye, aapne kuch bhi galat nahi kiya"
"Kab se dekh rahi hoon, kaaki kaaki kiye jaa rahi hai, Maa nahi bulaayegi?" says Suman smilingly.
"Maa, woh kya hai yeh Chipkali log na aise hi hote hai, akkal hi nahi" says Shiva jokingly.
"Aye Shiva, meri beti ke baare mein kuch bhi ulta bola nahi, teri pittayi kar doongi main" scolds Suman, taking Raavi's side while Raavi sticks a tongue out at him teasingly. "Maa, yeh kya baat hui aap ne toh party badal li" says Shiva faking annoyance, clearly happy to see their bond.
"Yeh lijiye sab muh meeta kijiye" said Jagat, distributing the sweets and feeding it to his sister.
Shiva sneakily pulls Raavi to the side and asks with a serious look, "Tu khush toh hai na?"
"Tujhe kya lagta hai?" questions raavi with a raised eyebrow, and then says, "Of course, main bohut khush hoon, Shiva" looking at Shiva's uncertainity.
"Par tu yeh bata, kaaki ko, I mean tune Maa ko kaise manaya?" quizzes Raavi, with a puzzled look.
— Flashback—
Shiva walks in determinedly into Suman's room that no matter what happens he would convince her today."Maa, dekh maa isse pehle tu kuch bhi bole, kuch bhi faisla sunaaye, main tujhse apni mann ki baat kehna chahta hai, uss ke baat tu apne mann ki baat bol de mujhe aur main sununga" says Shiva leaving no room for disagreement. Noticing that Suman complied, he takes a step towards her bravely and kneels in front of her, putting his head on her lap.
"Maa, aap ko yaad hai bachpan mein baba humesha kaha karte the ki, zindagi mein pyaar ho na toh mushkil se mushkil cheeze aasaan lagne lagti hai, woh humesha mujhse kehte rahe, ki Shiva chahe jo bhi ho jaaye, jab tak teri maa mere saath hai, main sab kuch seh loonga, uss waqt mujhe unki baat samjhi nahi, pann aaj main samajh sakta hoon, jabse Raavi wapas meri zindagi mein aayi mujhe koi bhi cheez zyaada der tak khatak ti nahi, kal itna tamasha hua, aap ne mana kiya, mama bhi mujhse khush nahi hai, phir bhi mujhe zyaada pareshaani nahi hui, kyun ki mujhe pata tha ki Raavi mere saath khadi hai, Maa main aapke mann ka tanav samjh sakta hoon, pann main kaafi saalon baad, khush hoon, jaise mujhe phir se muskuraane ki wajah mil gayi ho, main jo humesha se logon se, pyaar se, khushiyon se bhaagta aaya hoon, main aaj jeena chahta hoon, jaise Gaumbi aur Dhara bhabhi, jaise kabhi aap aur papa the, waise hi main bhi Raavi ke saath apni zindagi jeena chahta hoon" he states raising his head, looking up to Suman's face which still looked in doubt.
He takes both her hands in his own, saying "Maa, mujhe pata hai ki aap ko lagta hai Raavi ke wajah se main khud ko bohut hi kam kaabil samajh ne laga, pann aisa nahi hai, balki Raavi ki wajah se main aap ne aap ko sudhaar chuka hoon, uske liye, uske wajah se main phir se jeena seekha hai, agar woh nahi hoti aur mujhe maaf nahi karti, main aaj sada hua muh banake kahin kone main baitha rehta, khud ki kismat ko koste hue, aap hi socho main woh ladki jis ke saath main itna bura bartaav kiya, jisse iss ghar se dhakke maar ke nikaala gaya, uss ne phir bhi sab kuch bhulaakar mujhe apna liya, yahan tak ki jab sab mujhe uski halat ka zimmedaar bol rahe the, tab bhi uss ne sab ko mere khilaaf bolne nahi diya, aur ek aakhri baat main kabhi bhi aap ki baat nahi taali hai, pann agar aap mujhe Raavi se alag hone ko bolengi toh woh mujhse nahi hoga, main aap ki har baat maan sakta hoon, pann Raavi se kabhi alag nahi ho sakta, kasam hai mujhe Bholenath ki"
