First Person

"Your new body is a fighting instrument. Listen to it." Wu guided Lloyd while he was training.

Wu and I were both on the sidelines watching as Lloyd tore up the older boys in a fight.

Zane throws his shurikens at Lloyd, but the young boy jumps up to dodge them. They ended up in the watermelon Nya was holding, she started to glare at Zane.

"Since he's grown, he's learning faster, Sensei," Nya told Wu before I butt in.

"I hope Hayden will be able to learn just as fast. Since they aged up we don't know how long we got till the battle. Makes it worse we didn't start on the younger boy's training." I groan at my poor choices leaning onto Wu. He puts his arm around me to make sure I don't fall, as I continue to whine.

"But will it be enough to challenge Lord Garmadon?" Wu asked himself as he ignored me. "Only time will tell."

I get up from Wu's body, as I start to look back at the boy's training. Kai had Lloyd at the end of his sword. For some reason, Lloyd was dumb enough to grab the end of it. That would be an easy trick for the enemy.

They both start to glare at each other when suddenly Kai breaks Lloyd's hold on the weapon. Lloyd quickly to the ground, groaning about his fault.

"Have I taught you nothing?! Lloyd that's the basic move for an enemy!" I cry out before I help him up.

"You're getting pretty good, but seriously Y/n is right that move you fell for was basic 101," Kai told the boy as he help me pull him up.

"Yeah, if I had focused more when I was little, I would've seen that coming," Lloyd says as I groan at this fact. It is now common knowledge within the bounty that I don't like to mention the tomorrow's tea incident. Everyone seem to know I didn't like that Lloyd and Hayden both had to grow up so quickly. It was to the point I had a whole panic attack in the bathroom with Cole trying to calm me down.

"We cannot change the past, but we can improve for the future." Wu cut into the conversation and snapped me out of my thoughts. "Again. And this time do not hold back."

I leave Lloyd's side before joining Wu's. He looks at me before speaking, "Shouldn't we get Hayden down here? He is going to fight your father too." I sigh before nodding, as I turn to leave behind the door.

I exit the room heading towards the newly found teenager's room. I enter the room to find Hayden making a knife float in the air with the most control I have seen. I look at the boy in shock almost smiling.

"Hayden---" I cut myself off as he threw it at me. I quickly dodge it hitting the wall beside me. "Ugh, what the hell?" I look at the boy he only stared at me in shock, before running to me.

"Oh, P/n! I'm sorry I didn't know it was you!" He says as he quickly helps me up. "I thought it was Lloyd pulling a prank again---"

"Whoa, whoa! Calm down it's fine. But uh, maybe don't do that as revenge to Lloyd after a prank." I smile at the young boy, before pulling myself back together. "Wu wants you to come train with Lloyd, and the others. So come along now."

I was halfway out of the room when Hayden suddenly hugged me so tightly. I was frozen for a second processing what was happening. This boy was hugging me like it was the last time he would. His arms were wrapped around my waist as I put mine on his neck hugging him just as tight. This lasted a few more seconds before I broke it off.

The young boy looks to the floor, his fist balled up as his grip got tighter. "I love you P/n."

I pull my hand up to his cheek lifting it so he would look me in the eyes, "Hayden are you okay?"
