Ask Her Out!!

Dan's POV

1 day before prom...

Justin: Finally Prom is almost here,
do you guys have Dates?

James: I do, Dan did you ever ask out Rose?

Dan: No...

Justin: Well it's the perfect time to do it, I heard she still doesn't have a date to the dance. She's rejected every guy that's asked her out, so you could be the lucky guy.

Dan: *Stutters* I-I don't think that's a good idea

James: I think you should ask her Dan you've wanted to all week

Justin: Here she comes

I turned around to see Rose in a gorgeous Red dress with butterflies on it, I was stunned but I knew I couldn't talk to her even for a minute. But Justin started pushing me towards her, I tried to go back, but James started helping him. The next thing I knew I was in front of Rose, my heart was pounding, and I couldn't even get one word out let alone a whole sentence.

Rose: Hello do you need something?

Dan: Uhm... I...

She started to stare at me, then she left with the most annoyed facial expression. I felt sad and mad at myself for letting her just leave, then Justin and James came over to me

Justin: What happened?!

Dan: I couldn't do it

James: Why not?

Dan: *Stutters* I-I just couldn't ok! *Looks around*

Kids: *Wispering* *Snickering*

Dan: Can we stop talking about it, we're gonna be late for class.

Justin: Ok I guess

We all headed to class and I was still mad at myself for Not Talking to her,

Dan: (WHY am I So Shy?!?! I know why...)

I sat down in my seat and waited when I heard people talking about me.

Jock 1: That kid is a weirdo, I heard he stood in front of Rose and didn't say a Thing, and get this she left him standing there. *Laughs*

I felt anger form in my eyes, I grabbed out my fidget spinner quickly and started to spin it until I was calm.

Jock 2: I heard every time he gets mad he turns into this freakish monster.

Jock 1: Thats so wierd

I started to spin the fidget spinner even faster due to anger and sadness, a few minutes later and the teacher finally came in, which made everyone stop talking. I started to calm down a lot more than before, I put it away and started to doodle on my paper.

Jemma's POV

I was looking at Dan as always until I saw him doodling someone with him in his sketchbook, I grabbed out my phone and took a picture even though I had a funny feeling I knew what he was drawing. I looked at my phone and he was drawing that New Girl, I started to then write on a piece of paper:

Dan, do you want to go to prom with me Yes or No? -Secret admirer

I threw it to him and he picked it up.

Dan's POV

I was still doodling when I felt a piece of paper hit me, I immediately looked back at Jemma but it wasn't her. I grabbed the paper and opened it up it read:

Dan, do you want to go to prom with me Yes or No? -Secret admirer

I circled Yes and threw it behind me guessing it was someone in the back.

Jemma's POV

I grabbed the paper from the floor and see he circled Yes! I was so excited that I grabbed another piece of paper and wrote,

Yay! Meet me in front of the Gym tomorrow at 5:30 -Secret admirer

I threw it back at Dan, and a few moments later Dan threw it back I picked it up and read,

Ok, I'll see you there 😘

I started to scream internally, I was so excited!!! I was finally gonna talk to Dan without hurting him YAY!!
