Narrator's POV

It's midnight Maddy and a boy is in the park talking, and James is walking past them, he shifts his view he sees them, and sits down at a nearby bench. He listens in on to see what they're talking about.

James: (Who is that? And why are they out here this late at night?)

He looks closer, and Maddy moves into the light with the boy.

James: (Wait is that Maddy? Who is that boy? Why is she even here?)

Boy: Hey Babe, can I ask you a question?

Maddy: Yeah sure what is it?

Boy: are you in love with that 'Dan' guy?

Maddy: What of course not I was never in love with him in the first place, he's too soft and 'caring' he is not my type.

Boy: Good I just wanted to make sure that you don't like him, but you are a good actor.

Maddy: Oh I know I'm an amazing actor, "he is the best boyfriend in the world!" Ugh as if!

Boy: I should've known you are a faithful girlfriend!

Maddy: And you're the most amazing boyfriend ever!

Boy: Thank you or where you just acting?

Maddy: I'm being for real stop playing *Hits arm* *Kisses*

Boy: *Kisses back*

James: I gotta tell Dan!

James got up and ran home he knew he couldn't call Dan, but he had to wait until the morning. Maddy saw him run away from them...

Dan's POV

I was in my first class writing down what was on the board when James passed me a note it read,

We need to talk. it's about Maddy!

I wrote on the back of it,

Note

What about her? Can you tell me now?

I gave it to him. He read it and wrote on another piece of paper he passed to me.

Note

No, I can't tell you now I have to tell you later at lunch!

I mouthed ok to him and continued to work.

Lunch...

I sat down with James,

Dan: What do you need to tell me about Maddy?

James: She has a-

Maddy came and sat down next to me, she gave me a sweet smile, and I smiled softly back. I looked at James, he did not seem happy to see her.

James: Uhm Maddy me and my friend were having a conversation so if you don't mind.

Maddy: Well I would mind actually! Plus why can't you talk to him with me around?

James: We're having a private conversation!

Maddy: Nothing kept secret when it comes to Bf and Gf

James gave me an evil look Maddy, I gave him the same look.

James: If that's so true then Tell Dan something he doesn't know about you!

Maddy: Dan knows everything about me because I tell him!

James got out of his chair and just left without saying a word,

Dan: Wait, James!

I was about to get up but Maddy grabbed my shoulder stopping me,

Maddy: You should let him cool down he seemed pretty mad.

Dan: Your right, maybe I should...

I continued eating a little worried about James, I tried to stop worrying and just talked to Maddy the whole time.

James's POV

I got up and left the table furious, I walked into the hallway hoping that Dan would come so I could tell him why I'm so mad at her.

But he didn't, I looked inside the cafe to see them talking I wish Dan knew if he did then every bad thing could be avoided. I walked into the gym to cool down a little when I saw my brother bullying another kid.

I ran up to them and pushed them to the side,

James: Kid you might wanna run!

He did as I asked, my brothers, stood up and pinned me to the wall,

Noah: Why did you do that!!

James: Because you promised me that you wouldn't prank anyone and you lied to me!

Darrek: Well you are about to pay for what you did!!

James: Not unless you want me to tell mom what you've been doing!

They let go of me,

Noah: If you tell mom then I'll tell her where you were last night!

James: What? H-how...

Noah: I have my ways! Now get out of here before you get hurt!

Darrek: And if you ever mess up one of our pranks again you will regret it for your entire life!!

They left and I was still shocked about what Noah said,

James: (How did he know? Why did he know??)

I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard the bell for class.

Justin's POV

I was about to go into the gym when I saw James talking to someone I hid behind the bleachers and listened.

???: If you tell mom then I'll tell her where you were last night!

James: What? H-how...

???: I have my ways! Now get out of here before you get hurt!

??? 2: And if you ever mess up one of our pranks again you will regret it for your entire life!!

I wanted to ask him what that was about but the bell rang, I left my little hiding spot and headed to class when I heard a noise come from the gym, I looked back in to see James teleporting!!
