WE ONLY SEE EACH OTHER AT WEDDINGS AND FUNERALS.

"Careful, darling. Stay by my side, okay?" Five said as he pulled me closer by my waist, he was currently busy opening our one way ticket back to 2019.

This was our only chance, at this moment we were breaking our contract with The Handler, The Handler took us in back when we were still stranded in the apocalypse, she offered us a job which we both accepted with a dose of skepticism, that woman was never too fond of me. At first she even suggested to leave me behind since I was ordinary or had no real special abilities to offer. She was honestly always too touchy with Five as well, making me want to kick a hole in her head.

Five obviously persisted I should go along, I was his wife after all.

Anyway, Five and I had finally finished our calculations to get back to 2019, even if it looked a little off to me . . . Five insisted it was mistake-less and I accepted that, what did I know about math anyways? I used to sleep in math class. We decided to play along with the commission before we could eventually jump back to 2019, like we were doing now.

We stood behind a white wood fence, our weapons were put away as were our suitcases, we wouldn't be needing those anymore. I actually enjoyed Dallas, Texas; but not when you're supposed to make sure a president is assassinated . . .

Five let go of my waist as his hands formed fists, the familiar blue mist radiated from his hands while his face contorted in concentration, his eyes were squeezed tight as a blue portal began forming.

I've never seen something like this before, I stared in awe. He groaned loudly, grabbing my arm harshly before he pushed himself and I towards the portal. My eyes could barely keep themselves open as we were pushing against a tough border, from what little I could see, I saw a group of people, though they were all blurry.

I grunted loudly as my body pushed through the invisible border, making me feel a rush of adrenaline because of my body falling out of seemingly thin air. I couldn't feel Five's touch anymore and that made me quite anxious.

"Fuck!" I muttered once my body collided with the ground, I felt different, so light and small. I shut my eyes tightly to distract myself from the pain, only a constant whoosing sound ringed through my ears as I groaned and slowly lift my body up. I sat up and opened my eyes, they widened as I saw the group of people I mentioned before only a few feet away from me.

I could recognize them all somehow, I don't remember how or probably even when. Were we really in 2019? We?

I sharply breath in, swinging my head to the side in attempt to look for Five, I shot upwards as I gasped in shock, seeing Five the way I remembered seeing him on the day we first met . My hand clasped over my mouth as I stared at the boy in pure shock.

"Does anyone else see . . . little Number Five, or is that just me?" A man questioned from before us, I didn't even look at him when he spoke, I was too busy being utterly shocked at Five's appearance.

I let my hand drop as I looked down at myself, seeing the already big coat I wore now absolutely too big; fitting me like a hand-me-down you'd get from your grandma. I could feel the strap of my dress underneath fall off my shoulders and I saw my heels were a bit bigger than before. I gasped again as I noticed it wasn't only Five's age that got mixed up, it was mine too!
