HAZY SHADE OF WINTER.

╚══ஓ๑♡๑ஓ══╝

"Hey, you know, guys, uh . . . " Klaus spoke up, turning his head to the side slowly as he stared at seemingly nothing, obviously though, he saw something there.

. . . That's right! He can see ghosts, spirits and such, can't he?

Wonder who he's seeing right about now . . .

"Maybe I could help." Klaus suggested, turning his attention back at us all,

"Now is not the time."

"No, let him finish." Diego insisted, gesturing his hands towards Klaus. Luther looked over Diego with an odd expression as Diego simply parted his lips,

"He saved my life today."

Klaus stood up, looking behind him in annoyance, Luther made an expression which easily showed he halfheartedly believed the previous statement,

"Is that true?"

"Yeah, yeah, I did . . . " Klaus spoke, hands in his pockets as he tilted his head. I lifted my brow as I watched over his odd body language,

". . . did take credit for it." Klaus continued, lifting his hand to express his speech a tad more,

"In fact, the real hero . . . was Ben." he concluded, looking Luther dead in the eyes as Luther and Five briefly exchanged glances to one another. I bit my lip as I held an upcoming smile.

Oh my . . . They don't think fondly of this, do they?

The lot looked over their brother in slight confusion, a furrow in their brows evident. Allison subtly shook her head in disapproval upon hearing that very claim.

Klaus sighed over the reactions he had gotten,

"Today . . . Listen. Today, he punched me in the face." he stepped forward as he talked, trying his best to seem serious as his tone of voice slightly adjusted to his meaning.

From my peripheral vision I could see a small smirk tug on Five's face as he sat loosely on his chair, observing his brother's actions.

He thinks he's delusional. Everyone thinks so . . . It's inevitable in a sense.

"And earlier at the house, he was the one who saved Diego's life, not me." Klaus stood beside Diego, pointing to him as he nodded to his own words.

Luther lowly scoffed,

"You are unbelievable, Klaus."

"You want proof, is that it?" Klaus spoke erratically, I furrowed my brows as worry filled me slightly, sitting back into my seat,

"All right. I -- I'll give you proof." he stuttered out in rush, sniffing whilst picking up a bowling ball with both his hands as he rapidly blinked and licked his lips, looking seemingly behind Five and I.

Oh fuck no . . .

My heart started to nervously beat inside my chest as I put my hand over it, glancing over to Five who already had his eyes on me, a soft scowl masking a look of worry taking place.

I briefly smiled as I breathed slowly.

"Catch!"

Within an instant he tossed the bowling ball over Five and I's head, Five darted to the side as it came nearly our way, he yanked me with him, us both having our hands wrapped on one another. Five was barely on my lap, I felt my blood rush inside me rapidly.
