RUN BOY RUN.

╚══ஓ๑♡๑ஓ══╝

My legs ached and buckled underneath me, Five and I were climbing our way up to Vanya's apartment window, Five stood at the entrance of the window, waiting for me with open arms as he stared me down. As soon as I reached the top he helped me in gently, I thanked him before walking around the small room, on search for the bathroom where I assumed a tin full medical supplies would be.

. . . I found the bathroom and beamed in joy, pulling out a white tin from behind the mirror, by now I could tell Vanya was here by their conversation - Vanya's walls were very thin

I heard her voice echo through the halls as I walked towards the living room. Quietly I entered the room, walking past Vanya she stopped me,

"Hey, Y/N, Right? Im so sorry I didnt get to intorduce myself properly." Vanya spoke with guilt, I patted her shoulder as I shrugged it off, "It's fine, Vanya. I didn't introduce myself properly to you either so we a practically even." I laughed, kneeling before Five whilst I opened the tin, he stared.

"So. Why are you here?"

"I've decided you're the only one I can trust." Five said, looking down at me before looking up at Vanya again, "By that I mean Y/N as well, obviously." he murmured, I smiled.

"Why me?"

"Because you're ordinary." I scoffed loudly, not liking his reply. I nudged his knee, earning a quiet grunt from him. "Because you'll listen." he said soon after, better.

"Okay." Vanya breathed out softly. I quickly finished up Five's arm, putting a bandage over his injury and kissing it gently.

I placed everything back into the tin, standing up to go put it back in it's original spot.

Once I came back into the living room, Five had begun to speak again, "When we jumped forward and got stuck in the future, do you know what we found?"

"No."

"Nothing. Absolutely nothing." Five said in a quiet manner, his scowl was still evident yet he looked entirely dazed, his eyes faltering quite a bit. I stood still as I listened to their words, memories flickered through my mind like a stack of photos being flicked over quickly.

"As far as I could tell, we were the last people left alive. We never figured out what killed the human race, but . . . we did find something else.

The date it happens." I blinked in thought, my hands held one another infront of me just below my chest as I stared quietly at the floor. Sure I was stuck in time with Five myself but, I still somewhat felt lost there.

"The world ends in eight days, and I have no idea how to stop it."

Vanya seemed lost at words, honestly I was too, I didn't add anything to what he said and I kept it like that.

What were you supposed to say to that? She stared at him blankly, mouth agape. I sadly down at my shoes, I missed so much of my life, and so did Five. Yet it seemed no one came looking for me, I could only guess that's the case. Perhaps if I died no one would notice, I wondered if Five and I would've still been married if this jumping-too-far-back-into-time thing never happened.

"I'll put on a pot of coffee."
