As the weeks went by, Amelia felt herself growing even closer to Caleb, not exactly knowing in which way. They hadn't kissed yet, but they'd always make a flirty comment about the other when they were in a conversation, so that was their current situation.

The girl's closest friends had already caught up on that and they were secretly betting when the first kiss would happen. Also, thankfully, Troy was kind enough to introduce Caleb to a couple of his friends, like Anthony and Aaron, meaning he'd have more people to talk to.

On the other side of the city, Vinnie was close to breaking off whatever it was that he had with Renata. She was way too controling, trying to stop him from going out with his friends or even liking a post on Instagram. Not even just that, but also the fact that he didn't like her half as much as Amelia.

At first, he didn't mind - he spent most of his time on his computer, not going out without her wouldn't be a huge problem. However, after a while of that, he grew tired of her complaints.

And, as much as he tried not to, his mind couldn't help but compare Amelia and Renata. He used to see his ex girlfriend as clingy, since she'd pay him a visit every other day, but with his current girl, everything was way worse. Maybe the fact that they lived together also didn't help.

And again, even if he didn't say it out loud, he kind of missed the blonde hair girl. Not that he'd like to go back to her - he'd never want that -, but her positivity had helped him a bit in times which he needed it. Also, seeing (and hearing about) her with a new guy left him with a weird sensation on his stomach. He couldn't put a finger on what it was, though.

He just knew him and Renata were an impossible match.
