Is it too late?

Jungkook's Pov:-

As time goes,my anxiety kept increasing. My alpha going insane wondering about our mate. It has been fucking half a day but there is no news from my baby. His mindlink is still shut down.

I am losing control as time pass. It took all my self control to not run in forest for my baby.
"Namjoon hyung, let's fucking go please or I will go insane without him."I said running hand through my hair.
"I understand kook-ah but....."he signed and just patted my back.
"But what hyung... We will not do anything just I want see with my own eyes that he is fine. We will hide somewhere."I pleaded.
"Jungkook-ah, please be patient. Just some more time then I promise we will go to find him. I will come with you."Jackson hyung said handing me glass of water.

"Al-alpha, I d-did i-it."I startled hearing voice in my head.
"Baby, baby are you okay? What happened?" I asked worriedly.
"Hyung, hyung."I called out while talking in mindlink.
"Witch i-is gg-gone k-kookie but o-our promise..i-i l-love y-you...s-sorry.."my heart shattered hearing his weak voice.
"baby baby, where are you? Please talk to me...baby baby.."I kept calling him through mindlink but no response.
"Jungkook-ah, what happened?" Namjoon hyung asked worriedly.
"We have to go right now. He-he...."my breathing hitched.
"Let's go kook-ah..lets go."taehyung said.
"I am coming with you."yoongi said.
"We three will go. Wait for us."taehyung said.
"Yes. Keep me updated."he said and we ran outside hospital. We shifted into our wolves. I followed my baby's scent and ran fast as yoongi and taehyung followed me.
I ran faster as my mate's scent got stronger. I reached and my heart dropped seeing the sight. I shifted back running towards my baby lying on the ground body bruised.
"Baby......"
"Jimin-ahhh." Me and yoongi yelled at same time. I took him in my arms as I feel tear roll down my cheek.
"Baby baby open y-your eyes p-please."I pleaded caressing his bruised face. His lips were turned pale and his clothes were torn somewhere. They soaked in blood. My heart cracked seeing my baby's state.
"K-kookie." A weak voice stuttered as my eyes snapped at my mate.
"B-baby I am here, I am here. Nothing will happen to you ok...your alpha is here."I said kissing his forehead softly.
"D-dongsaeng, your hyung is here..."yoongi said tears running down his face.
My baby faintly smiled,"I-i am s-sorry k-kookie. I-i couldn't k-keep m-my p-promise. D-dont b-blame y-yourself."he said as his eyes drooped and he panted.
"No no baby. Don't say that. Keep your eyes open for me please. We are going to hospital."I said and shift into my wolf. Taehyung and yoongi place jimin on my back. We ran fast towards hospital.
"Please baby please stay with me please. We are close. Please please."I chanted in mindlink as I ran as fast as I can.
We reached hospital and I shift back. I carried my baby inside hospital.
"Taeil, taeil."I yelled putting my baby on strecher. He came running with others as they gasped.
"Stay here alpha. He need to be in operation theatre."taeil said as they dragged strecher towards room.
I collapsed on my knees clutching my head in hands. I felt tears stinging my eyes and my heart paining in my chest. I feel hands on my shoulders. I looked up to see Jin hyung looking at me with teary eyes.
"K-kook-ah."he hugged me as I let out my feelings silently.
"Hyung, look at my baby's state. I failed as mate didn't I? I couldn't protect him. I will die if something happens to him. He is my everything hyung. It's suffocating me hyung, its fucking painful." I said against his shoulder.
"Nothing will happen to him jungkook-ah. He is strong and he will recover. Stay positive. Everything will be better."he said caressing my back.

Yoongi's Pov:-

I cried against taehyung's chest as he hold me caressing my head.
"Tae, he-he will b-be fine, r-right?"I said while swallowing my sobs. He kissed my forehead wiping my tears.
"Kitten, he will be okay love. He is strong, don't you say that always."he softly said and I nodded. He pulled me again in his arms.
We pulled out as we saw Jungkook walked towards us. He stood in front of me.
"Sorry yoongi, I couldn't protect jimin."he said looking down.
"It's not your fault, Jungkook-ah."I said sniffling.
"But I should have been with him."he said in low voice.
"It was his decision to fight on his own and I would have done the same jungkook-ah. So don't blame yourself."I said gently patting his shoulder.
"Thank you."he said as I nodded slightly.
Everyone's parents came running in hospital.
Eomma came towards me running and I hugged her letting my tears flow freely.
"How is he yoonie?" She asked crying.
"Doctor has not informed yet."I said against her shoulder. I saw jungkook's eomma hugging him. He clutched on his mother's crying.
