It's been days since I last saw Diego. He's not here. And I want him here. I want to share with him my pain of losing my child.

I am in deep pain. The pain was unbearable. And I want Diego in my sight not to shout at him but to tell him that I do not blame him.

Ever since I opened my eyes three days ago, no one had the guts to ask or say something to me. Only Aunt Linda.

I understand my family, I know they're guilty and in pain also for what happened to me. They are blaming themselves. And Aunt Linda told me that they are so guilty and I felt guilty too for making them feel like it was their fault.

I am hurt and in pain for losing my second baby but then I realized that what happened was God's will. Baka hindi pa kami both ready ni Diego to have a second baby since we aren't stable yet. Our relationship isn't stabled yet.

"Aunt Linda, was Dio Ceto okay for the past year that I am not awake?" I asked Aunt Linda since she's the only person who's staying in my room.

"He's not, Selena. Just like your husband and your family. They're all upset about what happened to you. Your husband almost lost his sanity, Selena. Your baby died then he was the one who was driving when you got hit. Plus he was comatose, too, but unlike yours, his was just months."

Napaawang ang bibig ko. He was comatose too? Comatose rin siya for months yet he still blamed himself for what happened e hindi lang naman pala ako ang naghirap.

"Can you call him for me, Aunt?"

"He's not here, Selena. When he walked out the other day when he saw you opened your eyes, he didn't come home until now."

Napapikit ako ng mariin. That guy is such a coward to face me!

"Then can you call my doctor to come here instead, Aunt?"

Tumango siya at nagpaalam na lalabas muna para tawagan. Hindi na siya bumalik pagkatapos no'n. Baka tinawagan ng asawa o anak. Lagi na lang kasi siyang narito.

Ilang minuto pa ang lumipas at pumasok na si Doctor Alois Bekket.

"Well, hello there, my pretty patient." Ngumisi kaagad siya.

Ngumiti rin ako. "Nakakapanigo na wala ang nurse mo." Humalakhak ako.

Tumawa rin siya at umiling. "Iniwan ko. Nakakasagabal sa trabaho."

Napangisi ako. "Ah talaga lang, ha?"

He rolled his eyes at me which made me laugh even more.

"Anyways, bakit mo 'ko pinapunta? Hindi ka ba nakakakita ng gwapo at kailangan mo pa akong papuntahin?"

Ngumiwi ako. I'm sure kung narito si Diego nakatanggap na 'to ng batok kahit magpinsan sila. Bago ko lang nalaman na second cousin pala sila. Bago lang rin kasi akong gising.

"Kapal naman po. With respect."

Humalakhak siya. Nahiya ako bigla sa lakas ng tawa niya.

"Kaya ka siguro nagustuhan ni Diego dahil malakas ka mang-asar. Malakas rin 'yon mang-asar, e. Bagay kayo."

Napalabi ako sa sinabi niya. "Kailan pa naging malakas mang-asar si Diego? The last time I checked, napaka-seryoso no'n sa buhay."

"And it was almost two years ago. Nagbago na siya at napakalakas na mang-asar. Ewan ko ba roon. No'ng pumunta ako papuntang Germany, hindi pa gano'n 'yon. Napakaseryoso nga pero no'ng bumalik ako para ako ang gumamot sa 'yo, naging gano'n na." Tumawa siya at umiling.
